Mingyu's pov:

I let out a sigh as I questioned. "So you are telling me you are going to make Ms.Lee my secretary for a month?"

"Yes. She will take care of everything, so don't worry." Gramps assured me.

"We will see about that." I replied, still having doubts about this whole thing.

"She is one of the best candidates." He added, smiling.

"Sure." I nodded.

What bad can happen in a month? I thought.

.

.

.

Oh god, I was so wrong.

It was just the second week of Jeon Wonwoo's absence, and things were already messed up.

I had my secretary changed by that old man three times in a row, and right now I think I will have to get a new one again.

I threw the file on my desk and turned to look at my fourth secretary.

"Ms. Min, I had told you to rearrange the documents and files for nn company. Why haven't you finished them yet?" I groaned as I questioned her in a low voice, frustrated.

"There was no way to complete that many; I am sorry, sir." She held onto the files in her hands tightly as she bowed her head down, apologizing. But I don't need her fucking apology.

"What do you mean, 'no way', is this work a joke to you?" My voice was calm yet grimacing as I let out a single annoyed laugh, questioning her ridiculousness.

"I really tried, sir. I can complete them by tomorrow." She replied, her head still down.

This is now getting on my nerves. Still, raising my voice against a woman was the last thing I would do. But that doesn't calm me. This was the most important project this month.

I and Jeon had to sit tight for this all month. And when I finally got the opportunity, I let it slip away like this. Like Hell, Kim Mingyu.

"Tomorrow? My ass! I needed those files ready to be submitted yesterday. Even if you do it today, it won't matter anymore. Secretary Je- Ms.Min, this was an important project; you know that, right?" I scoffed, trying to stay calm and taking deep breaths in between as I tried to hit reality into her.

"Y-Yes. I will try to contact the company and ask for some more time, S-sir." She pleaded, but it was of no use. No use anymore.

"It's no use." I replied, as I slipped into my chair and took a deep breath.

"Please, Cal-"

"Get out," I said as I stared blankly at my desk and the files were lying on it. I screwed up.

"B-but Sir-"

"I said get the fuck out of my office." I glared at her, as I had ordered. My voice was deep and low, which sent shivers down her spine. She gulped hard and quickly made her way out.
