It was another beautiful morning at Ouran Academy. The students were beginning to fill in the hallways as the minutes of the morning hours went by. The sun casted beautiful golden rays on the large building. The bell rung, and everyone went to their respective classes. Including our pink haired psychic. Saiki sipped on his of his iced coffee before walking into his classroom. He sat in his seat with a small smile and was immediately approached by the twins."Kusuo! Another iced coffee again, huh?" The twins asked, leaning over the psychic's shoulder as he nodded and took another sip.
"Nice ring," Hikaru said, grabbing Saiki's hand and carefully examining it. "It suits you." Was that an attempt at a pickup line? If so, I'm sure someone as experienced as you could do better.
"Hi! Kaoru, Hikaru, Saiki!" A classmate waved. Hikaru dropped the psychic's hand and waved.
"Hey!" They greeted in unison. So energetic. It's barely eight in the morning. Saiki flinched when he felt someone brushing his hair out of his eyes. The psychic put a hand on hair turned his head to Kaoru.
"Why'd you do that?" Did I have something in my hair?
"I felt like it." The orange haired boy replied simply. Saiki furrowed his brows and turned to the front. He was going to have a quiet day today. Maybe he could read after school. Saiki looked up to see a boy who he didn't recognize stride into the classroom. Is he getting closer? The psychic watched the man stop in front of his desk. What's that about- The brunette slammed his hands on the psychic's table, making him flinch. W-What? Saiki could hear the rattling of ice in his coffee.
"...You. We're going to have a competition." The man said in a deep tone. Why?
"What competition?" The twins asked. The man continued, ignoring the twins inquiry.
"Whoever can make the best dessert will win!" Saiki stared blankly at the weird guy. "Well?"
"What's the point? I have club activities. Also, I don't know you." The brunette scoffed.
"Of course you know me. I'm your rival!" The twins and Saiki tilted they're heads in sync. Rival?
"Rivals?" Hikaru questioned. The brunette sighed and rubbed his temples.
"Whatever. I want to have a bake-off. I'm going to be known as the best baker in the school, not you!" Since when did I hold such a title?
"Well, Saiki. You have been increasing in popularity ever since you started baking for the club. Everyone really enjoys your sweets, you know." Hikaru shrugged.
"Even the teachers and chefs can't help but praise it." Kaoru added. Really...
"Exactly. Even my father praised it! He never praises my desserts! So naturally, I want to be the holder of that title." He leaned in, putting the twins on edge. Who cares? I'd be more than happy if you had it. "If you win, I'll leave you alone and you'll get two all you can eat coupons at the famous bakery downtown-"
"You're on." The man smirked and stood up straight. Saiki was stricken with a bad feeling, but brushed it off when the final bell rang.
"Great, then- CRAP! I'm gonna be late!" He turned around but stopped. "Just call me Masamune. I won't bother telling you my first name. You aren't worthy." He paused. I don't care anyway. "Although, I guess you are worthy if I'm challenging you... Oh well. Me. You. After school." The brunette turned around and sprinted out of the classroom just before the teacher walked in.
"Okay class, settle down." She clapped her hands twice to get their attention. The twins sat down in their seats as the teacher began attendance.
