Subchapter - The letter pt. 2

I've been there before. In flicker. I also woke up in complete darkness thinking I finally left that painful world. But then the lights turned on, and I saw 9 other scared and disoriented people. To which two of them were my friends.

Ellie and Bobby. They were looking at me just as confused as I was.

There was this one girl seeming older than others who came up to us. We were standing in a corner away from everyone else. She was really nice to us and explained how the game works before the weird voice did. Her name was Mery. She told us about the diary system and our roles. I was the detective.

I saw someone from the other group looking at us from the distance with a frown. I didn't mind much of it because I was trying to pay attention to what was happening. But then, the lights went off. And when they turned back on, the only thing I saw was Mery lying in front of us with a knife in her back.

Both Ellie and Bobby were crying, begging for he to come back, while I stood there, stunned. As person inside me grinned upon seeing her dead body.
