devika was now sitting in the royal courtyard as she was admiring her now 2 year old son Rudra who was playing in his grandmother's arms. She smiled as she watched him but at the same time, her heart felt a pang as she thought about Arjun and princess.

In all those 2 years, she had never tried to talk to Arjun about the princess, the guilt is still present as she thought about all the things she had said and done.

she suddenly heard a footstep as she looked to her left and saw Arjun standing there. His eyes was fixed on Rudra as he walked over towards her and sat beside her. They stayed in silence for a moment as they watched their son playing with Kunti

she was feeling a bit nervous as he sat beside her and the silence is almost deafening. Kunti looked at Arjun who was staring down at Rudra in his arm and spoke softly

"He has gotten a bit clingy after you left for 2 week you know"

Arjun turned and looked at her as he looked at his son and spoke softly

"And who's fault is that? He just missed his father."

Devika let out a light chuckle as she spoke

"You know he kept on looking at the door and waited for you everyday. I had to take him with me to the garden and sometimes he even woke up screaming and crying for you."

he laughed a bit as he spoke

"Of course, he loves me. We're the same after all" he proudly said as he gave her a smirk. He was so proud of himself when it comes to his Son

Kunti smiled as he spoke

"Yeah...he got exact features of yours but he got Forest green beautiful eye of Devika"

Devika chuckled as she heard Kunti words... He was his spitting image, same stubbornness, same look, same hair, and everything.

she turned to look at Arjun as she spoke

"Yeah, he is definitely a copy of you...."

he chuckled as he heard her words, he knew that his son, was everything like him. he smiled as he said

"He will be the perfect successor after me. strong, smart, intelligent, and good leader who can rule hind with iron fist...but I wish He just don't get a love life like mine.."

she nodded slowly and she couldn't help but speak softly looking at her son

"May he gets his love story happy ending may this little Arjun gets his Maheen this time"

as soon as she said about the princess and maheen...the atmosphere between them changed and became heavy. He stayed silent for a moment before he spoke

"Hope so..."

It was Winter Time she was sitting in garden caressing her 9th month old baby bump while watching osman,Omar and Nasir play In garden

Ibrahim walked into the garden, his gaze falling on Maheen sitting there, her hand resting protectively over her belly. He approached her, his steps measured and quiet.

As he got closer, he took a seat beside her, his eyes drifting to her swollen belly and then up to her face. He studied her for a moment, taking in her weary expression and the sadness in her eyes.

"How are you feeling?" he asked quietly, his voice softer than usual. He knew the tension between them since that incident had made things difficult.
Maheen looked at him, her eyes flickering with a mix of emotions.

"I'm fine," she replied, her voice almost a whisper.

"Are you sure?" Ibrahim pressed, his concern evident. He reached out, gently placing a hand on her bump. "You look tired."

Maheen sighed, the gentle touch sending a pang of bittersweet pain through her. "I'm fine," she repeated, her voice  little high this time.

Ibrahim withdrew his hand, his eyes searching hers, trying to gauge what was going on in her mind. The silence between them was uncomfortable, both of them aware of the elephant in the room as when Nasir came running towards them and sat with them

"look at this flower I picked for you" Nasir's innocent voice broke the silence.

Maheen managed a small smile, grateful for the diversion. "Thank you my boy," she said, kissing his cheeks

Ibrahim watched the interaction, a mix of emotions in his eyes.

"You're becoming quite the little gardener," he said ruffling his hair

Nasir giggled at his touch, the lightness of the moment washing away some of the tension.

"Well When My mother was alive every month I used to go for hunting with My father and used to get her various types of flower."

Maheen and Ibrahim heart saddened as they can see clearly how the little boy still misses his parents. The room temperature suddenly felt colder as Nasir continued talking, oblivious to the strained atmosphere.

"I miss them a lot," he said quietly, his eyes downcast.

Ibrahim and Maheen exchanged glances, their hearts heavy with sympathy and understanding. They knew how the loss of his family had left a void in the young boy's heart as Ibrahim pulled him on his lap

"You have us...you have all of us."

Nasir looked up at Ibrahim, a hint of a smile on his face. "I know," he said, his voice slightly quivering. "But sometimes I wish they were still here..."

Ibrahim wrapped his arms around the boy, holding him close. "I know," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.

Maheen watched the interaction silently, her heart aching for the young boy. She reached over and gently stroked his hair, offering a silent comfort.

As Nasir looked at both them before speaking

"Can I call you Ammi & Abbu???"

Maheen's breath hitched in her throat.

Ibrahim's hand stilled for a moment, surprise flickering in his eyes. The word "Ammi" and "Abbu" held so much weight, so much significance...it was someone's Trust on them to give them this big Right

He looked down at Nasir, studying his innocent face, and then up at Maheen as she spoke .
"of course you can"

Nasir's eyes lit up, a wide smile spreading across his face. "Really?" he asked, his voice filled with excitement.

Maheen nodded, a soft smile on her face. "Of course," she assured him. "You can call us whatever makes you comfortable."

Ibrahim smiled softly, his chest swelling with a mix of emotions. Hearing the word "Ammi" and "Abbu" directed at them was something he hadn't expected, but it filled him with a sense of responsibility, honour, and...love.

he ruffled Nasir's hair. "We're here for you," he said gruffly.

Nasir snuggled closer, his small body relaxing in their embrace. He looked up at both of them, his eyes filled with a mix of trust and hopefulness.

Maheen fought back tears, the weight of the situation hitting her hard. This young boy had lost so much, and yet he was willing to give them such a precious thing... it was both touching and heartbreaking.Ibrahim's eyes met Maheen's, a silent understanding passing between them. This boy needed them, needed their love and guidance. And they would give it to him, no matter what.

As Nasir got down from his lap and walked towards Maheen as he touched her baby bump

"Ammi....When baby is gonna come???"

Maheen chuckled, her hand rubbing her round stomach. "Soon, my little one," she assured him, her voice warm. "It won't be long now."

Nasir's face lit up. He bounced on the balls of his feet.

"I can't wait! I'll be having a new crime partner and A best friend!!!" he beamed.

Maheen and Ibrahim laughed at his innocence. "Yes, you will," Ibrahim said.
