It was a clear and beautiful mid-morning day in Aswan, the sky was blue, and the air was breathable, everything seems to be all right with the world... at least to a normal observer. To a Stand user however, the city's hospital was being assaulted by [Nephthys], a Stand ability with power over darkness and fear, as it crawled over the building's wall trying to drag down Kakyoin and Medea to its dark embrace, but the latter refused to give up as she desperately held onto the Hierophant for dear life.

"Nnnngh! [Nephthys] is getting too stroooong!" Medea cries out, slowly losing her strength as [Nephthys] continues to pull. She then felt his hands slipping. "Don't let go! Don't let go! Don't let go! Don't let go-" Medea starts repeating this.

"I'm tryiiiiing!" Kakyoin struggles to keep his hold onto Medea as he starts slipping.

Down below, Eris smirks evilly, she finally has the upper hand with her targets, she continues to pull [Nephthys] back so it can pull Kakyoin to his doom and overwhelm Medea. She sees that the teenager is struggling to keep his hold through her binoculars, this cause her to mutter: "...I win." Before pulling her Stand back one last time.

"AH!" Before anyone can blink, Kakyoin loses his grip and let's Medea go.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Was what Medea cried out as she helplessly watched Kakyoin and his Stand fall into the darkness below, back first. The last thing she saw of him was his distressed and scared expression as he reaches out for her in vain.

With nothing for his Stand to grab onto, Kakyoin could only watch her disappear from his vision as he fell into the darkness that consumed him until eventually... the light was gone, his entire world was gone, he can't even see himself as [Nephthys] took a hold of him, with his Stand's emeralds being the only thing he could see...

...boop...boop...boop...boop...

Just as everything went silent, sounds of a sonar can be heard within the vast blackness, Kakyoin finally managed to open his eye...no, eyes, as he was greeted by a familiar site; the submarine's interior, the same submarine that traveled the red sea from Saudi Arabia to Egypt's shore.

"Huh?" Kakyoin was confused as he looks down on himself and finds that he was laying in one of the beds that are found in the sub, still wearing his green school uniform. "What the?... Wasn't I just falling from a hospital building?..." He sits up from his bed, his head in his hands, trying to comprehend what just happened. "...Was it all just a dream?...There was never any Egyptian god Stand users?"

"Hahahahaha..."

"Hm?" Kakyoin perked up when he heard sounds of laughter coming from inside the sub, it sounds gruff yet boisterous, this somehow calmed the teenager down. "Oh, it's just Mr. Joestar." He smiled to himself, relieved that someone he knew is still around. He stood up from his bed before walking to where the kitchen is, there he sees all his friends gathering around the table, Joseph, Avdol, Polnareff, and Jotaro, they were all there chatting up a storm. Kakyoin sighed in relief upon seeing them all again, "So it was all just a bad dream after all." he said to himself as he approaches them, "Hey guys, have we made it to Egypt yet?" was what he asked, no answer, they all just ignored him. "...Guys?"

"...and that's how Jotaro and I took care of Steely Dan." Polnareff boasted to Avdol, obviously catching up with him due to his long absence as a result of being injured by Hol Horse and J. Geil.

"Hm? You don't say?" The fortune teller replied, nodding.

"Jotaro and you? I was the one who got a hold of [Lovers]." Kakyoin said, annoyed at the Frenchman's arrogance.

"And then there was the Stand user of the [Sun], very deadly ability but the guy was a HUGE idiot! Hehehehe." Polnareff chuckled, completely ignoring and interrupting the young teenager.
