The doctor was hovering above Kakyoin's bed with a flashlight in hand, aiming directly at the redhead's right eye, the doctor then turned off the flashlight and began moving his left forefinger, Kakyoin follows the finger without turning his head. The Doctor stood up straight and started writing some notes down.

"It looks like your eyes are making a speedy recovery, Mr. Kakyoin." The doctor said. "But judging by how your left eye is acting, we're going to perform a quick visual test...nurse, bring in the eye chart!" The doctor calls out as the nurse pushes in a Snellen eye chart. Kakyoin sits up in his bed which is covered in discarded bandages, his left eye is closed shut while right is fully open, the only thing that stayed the same is his eye color being a shade of lavender purple, and his eyelids donning two thin vertical scars from his encounter with [Geb].

"Read this row with your left eye." The nurse said, pointing at the fifth row of letters.

"Ok." Kakyoin covered his right eye and tried opening his left eye, but he seems to be having a hard time opening it due to how sensitive it is, "Mmm..." Even worse his vision is blurry, he can see shapes and colors, but his reading is skewed. "Ah...D...E...P...O...I...?" He seems to be struggling to read.

"Ok, now try it with your right." The nurse said.

He covered his left eye and began to read: "...D...E...F...P...O...T...E...C." This time he did better as his vision in his right eye is a lot better and clearer, thus allowing him to read. The doctor wrote more in notes.

"Very good." The nurse gleamed.

"Well, Mr. Kakyoin...It looks like your right eye has fully recovered, but the left seems to be a little sensitive and needs more time..."

"I understand, doctor. I'm just happy to see again."

"I'm glad to, Mr. Joestar would be pleased with the results. That being said, you're gonna need to wear an eyepatch over that eye to protect it from light and debris until it's fully healed." The doctor said as the nurse approaches Kakyoin with a white medical eyepatch.

"Of course." Kakyoin replies as he leans up, allowing the nurse to put the eyepatch over his left eye.

"We'll return to apply some more eye medicine later, Mr. Kakyoin." The doctor says as he leaves the room. "In the meantime, you're more than welcome to get out of bed to get some exercise now that you can see."

"I'll do just that." Kakyoin says as he leaves his bed, "...Whoa." He wobbled around for a bit before standing up straight, he seems to have been bed ridden for a while. He then begins to stretch his body by twisting his torso, then his arms, then reaching down to touch his toes.

"Looking good there, Cherry boy."

"Ah!" Kakyoin exclaimed in surprise when he heard a young woman's voice. He turns to see Medea sticking her face through the busted hole which seems to be covered by a white piece of paper taped over it. "Don't startle me like that, I'm a little jumpy right now."

"Sorry." Medea said. "So, your eyes are doing well now?"

"A little." He answers as he continues his stretches. "My left eye is still healing, but otherwise I'm doing a lot better than before, mmm!" He leaned back so far that it almost looked like he was about to break his back, [Hierophant Green] pushed him back up. "I'm amazed that N'Doul's Stand hasn't permanently blinded me considering how deep the cuts were."
