Sarah likes Chase because of his looks and personality. What she looks for in a guy's personality is that he's kind, funny, chill, sweet, and smart. Chase meets all the standards.She also likes him because he's a total hottie.
The only problem is that he barely even notices her. Other than bumping into each other in the hall and apologizing or doing projects for class, they don't talk to each other. At least, how she wants them to. When they do talk outside of those scenarios, it's just a simple "Hi" or "Hello", not the all out conversation that Sarah longs for.
She tries to talk to him but when she's around him, it always turns out bad. Once when she tried to talk to him, she threw up on him because she was so scared. As a result, he doesn't make any form of contact with her. She still remembers that tragic day.
Some people still tease her about it. Sometimes she hears little whispers, "Look, it's the dweeb who puked on Chase.". She hears them and wants to cry. But she has to pretend she doesn't care, even though she does.
