I woke up really early this morning because I had to get ready for the dance. I had already had an appointment scheduled for hair, makeup, and nails. I wanted everything to be perfect tonight. As i arrived to the nail salon I looked at all the colors. I went with just a french tip because it went well with my dress perfectly. Next I headed to the hair stylist. I got my hair curled. And then I went to go get my makeup done.
I arrived back home and waited for Woozi to pick me up. I heard my door bell and jumped up. I was so happy to see my best friend, hopefully something more after tonight. He looked so attractive in his suit. He held out his hand, making my heart melt. I grabbed it and he led me to his car. He even opened the door for me.
We arrived to the dance and I felt like everyone was starring as we walked in together. Some of the girls were giving me jealous looks, and others looked more like they wanted to kill me, but i ignored them. I forgot to mention, Woozi is one of the most attractive guys at my school. Any girl would give up anything just to date him for a day. But he choose me, which I didn't understand.
We walked over to the dance floor and as soon as we walked over there a slow song came on and we began to dance. It was so romantic. When he looked at me he had a sparkle in his eyes making my heart melt even more. He also had a smile on his face. He looked so happy.
"So, there's something i need to ask you?" He said. My heart began to race. "Sure." I said with the biggest grin on my face. "Will you go out with me?" "Yes!" I shouted, a little bit too loud. His face lit up. He pulled me into a hug. The song went off and we went to get some food and had a good time.
"Okay everyone, this is the last slow song of the night, make the best of it" the DJ announced. Me and Woozi walked to the dance floor and started to dance again. We just looked into each others eyes without saying anything for half the song. Then Woozi started getting closer. Before I knew it, his face was just a few centimeters from mine. Then he kissed me, I kissed back of course. It was a long, but slow kiss. It was passionate, I felt like he really loved me.
We pulled apart and smiled at each others. I was just glad that the auditorium was too dark for him to see me blushing. After the dance was over he took me hand again and we got in his car. We rode back home and arrived to me house. I was about to get out when I felt Woozi's hand on me shoulder. "I love you" he said. I felt butterflies in my stomach. "I love you too" I said back. He leaned in and kissed me again then I got out and waved goodbye.
