Picture this: a summer day, when the sun blankets the world in its warm embrace, inviting you to soak up its golden rays. Summer is a season that transforms the world into a vibrant canvas, with nature showcasing its most brilliant colors. The trees sway in lush green, the flowers bloom in a riot of hues, and the sky stretches out in a brilliant blue expanse. It's a time when the days seem to stretch on forever, offering endless opportunities from lazy afternoons spent with friends to riding the tall waves.

That's what Outer Banks is like in the summer.

Outer Banks, deemed Paradise on Earth, was a tale of two worlds; two sides of a coin. On one side, the Pogues, the working class of the island. They embody the raw energy of the sea embracing the saltwater in their veins. On the flip side, the Kooks, the privileged few, bask in the lap of luxury, their extravagant beach houses standing tall like castles on the sand. They sip cocktails by the pool, their laughter mingling with the ocean breeze. But amidst the contrasting worlds, there's a common thread that binds them: the Outer Banks.

Camille Langley is the embodiment of summer's golden rays. Daughter to the figure of Darren Sterling, an influential and powerful man of Outer Banks. But she is her mother's daughter— a Pogue.

Marianne Langley's biggest pride and joy was her child, the girl she raised all by herself. She tried to involve Darren in their daughter's upbringing but he'd rather wave some cash in their face and do his own thing. As Camille grew older, she tried forming a bond with her father (or rather force it). She'd invite him out to lunch, important events, or just to spend time. Each time she ended up disappointed.
