After Batgirl had left, none of us were able to go back to sleep. All any of us could do is sit there and wonder just what in the flying fuck balls was going on. So we decided to camp out in the living room and binge watch Vampire Diaries until most of us fell asleep, but for me I couldn't do so. It felt like I was constantly on edge, waiting for something to happen that would make everything so breaktakingly fucked that I wouldn't know which way was up or down. All I could think of it why the bloody Bat Symbol, and why target Black Mask's goons specifically?
Did whoever this is have a personal grudge against him? And just what the hell did they have against Batman? Whatever the case was I couldn't tell you. But when it had gotten to be around 6:00 in the morning I decided to get up to start making coffee and breakfast for everyone.
"Oi, breakfast is ready! Hurry up before it gets cold."
I called out to everyone as they stirred from their slumber.
"Mmm mmm."
Harley groggily sat up and shook her head as her hair was looking like that of a bird's nest.
"Come on Harley, it's time to get up."
Jinx encouraged her but got the same treatment.
"No."
Harley replied.
Ivy must have had a light bulb go on in her head because then she used her vines to simultaneously restrain Harley and tickle her awake at the same time.
"Are you going to get up now hun?!"
Ivy says as she continued to tickle her.
"Hahahaha hahahaha hahaha okay okay okay I'm awake, I'm awake!!"
Harley squealed.
"Just stop tickling me already red!!"
Her pleas of desperation we're enough to call off Ivy as I dished up everyone's plate.
In Spanish:
"How long have you been up?"
Larissa asked.
"For a little while, couldn't sleep."
I say as I poured her coffee.
"Maybe I should have given you more of the nake cuddles."
Blackfire says as she licked her lips.
In English:
"Haha,maybe later. It depends on whether or not this guy emails me or calls me at some point today."
Almost everyone had perked up except for Harley who was still half asleep as she scarfed down her food.
"And which job would this be?"
Caitlin asked.
"Delivery Driver, Big Belly Burger just started delivering their food along with a new line of Burger based Pizzas. They even said that new employees get an added sign on bonus of $200. So yeah, hopefully I get this job because as grateful as I am for you doing so Ivy, I'm not going to have be paying the bills forever and all by yourself."
Just then the kettle started to scream.
"Gunpowder Green with Jasmine and a dash of Honey."
"Why does she get special treatment?!"
Jinx exclaimed with a salty tone before going on to pout.
But then there was a knock at the door and everyone got ready to knock back if needed.
"Hi, order for Damien?"
The Door Dash guy asked.
"The one and only."
I replied as he handed me the bag.
"Have a good one."
"You too."
Door Dash guy says before taking his leave.
"Here's your Venti sized Iced Mocha with whipped cream and extra espresso."
I say handing Jinx her drink.
"4 Lavender Oat milk Matchas."
I handed the drink carrier to Blackfire.
"One Venti sized "Iced" Americano."
I say handing Caitlin her drink.
"And one Venti sized Pokemon Go Berry Smoothie for you."
I said as I handed Harley her drink.
Jinx and everyone else gave me a look of surprise as I tossed the Door Dash bag in the trash.
"What?"
"I was only kidding."
Jinx muttered before taking a sip of her Mocha.
"But I'm still not complaining."
Harley had got up to give me a loving kiss before taking her smoothie into the other room.
"Thank ya Mista D!"
