"Here's the report for the upcoming product launch" Melanie says handing the document to me and I thank her, taking it from her hands, "Any messages?" I ask and she nods.

"Tsu will be ready at 3 today and your fiancé is asking if you could do lunch today at 1" she says and I nod, "I should be finished by time if not—"

"I'll inform him" She finishes my sentence for me and I smile, "How would I live without you Mel" I commend her and she laughs walking out of my office.

Skimming through the folder she just handed to me, I made a few notes of the profits we've made and went through the feedback we've received from users.

AI Mirae was so huge when it launched we had to adapt different versions based on the partnerships we've made.

Our artificial intelligence doesn't just support homeland security anymore, it was now in everything even phones and the company was making more money than we knew what to do with it.

It's been three years and I kept moving forward, I worked through it and was able to put some parts of what happened behind me.

A lot has changed, some for the good and some for the bad. I haven't seen or spoken to anyone relating to Jamari since that day and I know I should reach out but I couldn't bring myself to.

I still carried him everywhere I went because it's hard letting go of the only person I've loved with such a huge part of myself.

I buried myself in work and now I was reaping the benefits. I abandoned the idea of going to medical school after he died and got a degree in computer science and business instead.
