Brothers at Odds! a Phighting! OC insert

Phighters Ready!

Rope Dagger and Steam Blaster finally arrived at crossroads after a 7 minute run from their home. They enter the vibrant spiralling tower as they walk to the center of the map.

"Woo! We're finally here!" Rope said, putting their arms on their waist enthusiastically. He lets go of Steam Blaster as they both sit down and rest in a nearby bench.

"Sometimes... Huff... I question how you don't get tired after... Uff... Running that far, Rope..." Steam panted from exhaustion. Rope Dagger smirked at them mischeviously and giggles.

"Why the hell are you smirking at me like that?" Steam Blaster asked jokingly as they drank a bottle of water.

"Nah, I'm just messing with ya. Did you forget that I've trained for this?" They replied teasingly

They both stood up from resting after a short while and walked over to Zuka to join the round. They hopped in their pickup as Zuka went on the road to where the next phight is held.

"Oh, hi there Rope and Steam!" A familiar voice said. Both of them turned their heads to see who it was. It was Slingshot! along with Skateboard and Boombox. They are on the way to the round like the both of them.

"Heya guys!!" Rope Dagger and Steam Blaster waved.

"Ya'll on your way to the phight like us this time huh?" Boombox added.

"Mhm! Actually, It's been a while since we last entered a phight." Rope mentioned

"You sure yesterday was a while?" Skateboard mentioned as they inspect the wheels of their skateboard

"Hah! 'course it is!" Rope jested. They continued to chat casually as Steam Blaster gazed into the various sceneries for most of the ride.

As time continued to pass, 15 minutes had gone by and they soon neared their destination. They drove through the overpass above the graffiti-covered skatepark that was below them where they will be having the phight.

Zuka pulled into the driveway near the colorful spray-painted area as the phighters get off one by one. They each thanked him for the ride as they drive off into the distance.

"Hi there, Sling!" Shuriken was waiting with Vinestaff for them near the entrance of the skate park.

"Hello Shuri! Let me guess. Hoping to beat me this round if we happen to be opposing teams?" Slingshot said as they readied their weapon.

"You bet I am! I won't let you outdo me today for sure!" Shuriken replied eagerly as they also readied theirs

There were a few other phighters who were patiently waiting for the match to start as well. Soon enough, the phight was about to start and everyone is gathering to be assigned to teams.

Rope Dagger looked at Steam Blaster as they swiftly took out their weapon.

"You ready, Steam?" They brought their arm up to Steam Blaster for a fist bump.

Steam Blaster turned their head and smiled at them before fist bumping. "Always am and ever will be!"

Everyone went into position as they were assigned into one of the two teams one after another. I waited in anticipation to see which team I'd get placed in. I was hoping I'd get put in the same team as my best pal- I mean brother, Steam.

(Please put me in the same team as Steam Blaster...) I thought and wished to myself as I glanced in excitement to see the team members. (I see... Slingshot... Sword... Vinestaff... STEAM!!) I ran up excitedly to them.
