It was a lazy morning. Sharmili was scrolling through Instagram lying in the hospital bed and of course her feed was full of Shubman's reels, edits and all. Shubman on the other hand had no choice and had to fly back to Ahmedabad to join Gujrat Titans. Sharmili was recovering at a fast rate and the doctor said that she would be discharged on Wednesday. Her college had agreed to take re test of the exams she would miss.

Sharmili's mind wandered off to Shubman; the way he was taking care of her, protecting her. She couldn't help but think that he might actually love her and it was not some fling. She kept the phone beside her and tried to get a nap.

Just then her phone rang. Shubman was calling. She picked up the call in an instant

Sharmili: "Hello"

Shubman: "Haan Sharmili I've reached here and checked in. Tum kaisi ho abhi?"

Sharmili: "not feeling that well."

Shubman: *tensed* "kya huya?"

Sharmili: *blushing* "tum chale gaye na.. how could I be well?"

Shubman: *blushing hard* "Accha? Flirting haan?"

Sharmili: "Ye toh kuch bhi nahi hai. If I actually start flirting na then you will be loosing control."

Shubman: *smirking* "I have already lost control over myself baby."

Sharmili: *blushing* "baby? Look who's flirting now"

Shubman: *laughing* "Mujhe aur koi tension nahi hai.. you seem totally fine"

Sharmili: "Areh Haan I'm alright doctor ne bola hai 2din mein discharge kardenge. Haat pair nahi tuta yahi bohot hai"

Shubman: "I know right. Oh by the way, you will have an unexpected guest today."

Sharmili: *amused* "Who's it?"

Shubmam: *extending the e* "Surpriseeee."

Sharmili: "What's this Shubman?? Batao na yaar"

Shubman: *winked* "You'll see"

And Shubman hanged up the call. Sharmili couldn't help but keep guessing who it could be.

Guyss sorry for the short chapter and I wasn't able to update for a while because I was out of station.
