Shimla, nestled in Himachal Pradesh, is a beautiful place surrounded by nature. It's like a peaceful sanctuary with breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
The valleys there are calm and peaceful, telling stories of tranquility. Everywhere you look, you see lush green hills, and the air is so fresh and cool, like it's sharing hidden stories with you.
The old-fashioned buildings in Shimla give it a unique charm, making you want to explore every corner and experience its timeless beauty.
In one of those houses lived two sisters, Shin Ryujin and Shin Yuna.
The sisters, undoubtedly, were just like any other siblings, bickering over trivial matters yet deeply caring for each other.
Shin Ryujin, the fierce yet charming, loves and hate her younger sister at the same time.
Shin Yuna, with her bubbly and loving personality lights up the mood everywhere she goes.
Currently the two sisters were in their shared room, playing a game. UNO, the game which ruins friendship and family.
"Oh my Yuna, this is your present." Laughed Ryujin.
"No please don't do this to me!" Whined Yuna as Ryujin placed down three 4+ cards. "I hate you."
"As if I love you." Ryujin replied, still laughing like a crazy person who has won a lottery.
Now, Yuna who originally had two cards have to pick up twelve more cards. As Yuna kept picking up cards from the deck, a small smiled made it's way to her lips. Slowly that smile grew wider and a mischievous look was visible on her face.
"Why are you smiling like a creep?" Asked Ryujin as she looked at her younger sister with a weird look.
As the game continued, Ryujin put down one 'red 7' card and voiced out, "Uno".
At that, Yuna smiled sheepishly and put down three '∅' cards making it her turn again. Then she let down two 2+ cards to which Ryujin frowned.
Without any comment, Ryujin picked up four cards from the deck and game continued with Yuna's turn.
And again, Yuna kept four 4+ cards to which Ryujin replied with a violent attack.
"You're evil!" Ryujin exclaimed as she threw a punch at her, hitting Yuna's arm.
Between their useless argument the game of UNO continued with Yuna putting down her last four cards, 'wild card' with a 'green, red and yellow five'.
"Uno wins!" Yuna laughed hysterically pointing at the grumpy expression of her older sister.
"When did you get this good at UNO!?" Ryujin huffed a breath and layed down on the floor.
"I was always good." Yuna rolled her eyes and too layed down on the floor.
For a good minute they both were laying down looking at absolutely nothing on their ceiling.
"Ryujin! Yuna! Come down!" Shouted their mother, calling them downstairs since it's already 9:16 pm, dinner time for them.
"Aaye mumma! (Coming mother!)" Yelled the sisters as they stood up and walked downstairs, not exactly walked but ran downstairs.
"What's for dinner?" Asked Yuna as she sat down on the dining table with a smile.
"Matar paneer, roti and chawal." Replied their mother as she served the food at the table.
Ryujin who was sitting beside Yuna asked, "Papa vapas kab ayenge? (When will father come back?)"
Her mother shrugged and answered, "Pata nahi (don't know)."
Ryujin simply nodded and both the sisters started eating their dinner.
After they were done, both of them thanked their mother for the delicious food and went back to their room.
"I'm so full." Yuna burped and plopped down on her bed and soon fell asleep in no time.
Ryujin too sat on her bed but instead of sleeping like Yuna, she was using her phone.
For a couple of hours Ryujin was on her phone, exploring new posts and watching reels on Instagram. Soon she too fell asleep.
Their mother entered their room with a smile, affectionately calling them "Mere shaitan bacche" (My naughty kids). With a flick of the switch, she dimmed the lights before retreating to her own room.
