As I was traveling through the blue wormhole, a bright light appeared at the end of it, flashing in front of my eyes. I couldn't help but think to myself.

Y/N: "Don't tell me, I'm going to fall face to the ground..."

And unfortunately, that's exactly what happened the next moment.

*Baam!*

I crashed onto the ground, causing dirt to fly up into the air around me.

Y/N: "Ouch!"

I exclaimed, feeling the pain of my fall. I opened my eyes, still in pain, and looked around. My vision was surrounded by random trees and dirt under my shoes.

I realized I was not in the city, but rather on a random island in the Honkai Impact world.

Y/N: "Great..."

I looked around and took steps that would lead me out of the forest. I walked... and walked. After a while, I finally came out of the forest and was met by the sea and lots of sand.

Y/N: "Now... What was I supposed to do here?*

I said, feeling lost. As soon as I spoke, a red screen appeared in front of me regarding my quest.

ALERT!

[System Quest: 'The First Step Toward a New World'

- Make a companion (1/0)
- Level up to level 13 (13/1)

Rewards: 10 Status Points.

Achievement: 'A Friend from Another World'

Failure will result in the Death of the Host.

Time: 7 days 19 hours]

I realized that it was not possible to complete this quest on this island.

Y/N: "Can't you just teleport me somewhere more crowded so I can find companions easily?"

I asked the system, but there was no answer. It was like the system just wasn't there.

Y/N: "Are you for real?"

I muttered to myself, frustrated. As I tried to think of a way to get out of there, I felt a weirdly ominous presence behind me. Which by the way I would have noticed if I wasn't deep in my thoughts...

Y/N: "Ain't no way..."

I said, turning around.

There it stood - a creature with its mouth wide open, its breath tickling my whole being, its long horns pointed at me as if they were going to tear me apart. The beeping pink colour on its back made me realize it was bigger than I imagined.

Y/N: "And no, that wasn't what she said."

I muttered to myself, Ganesha, The emperor class honkai beast let out a deep breath as the dirt flowed in the air, And I realised something.
