As Savanah arrived at the DX she scoffed at how many girls were inside.
Everyone was always telling her what a doll Sodapop was but she didn't really fancy him.
She knew he was attractive but she just didn't think of him that way.
"Oh my god, he's such a dream!" A girl giggled with her friend as they walked out.
"Hi Savanah." Steve called.
"Hiya Steve." She walked over to him.
"Soda's inside." Steve said before focusing his attention back on the car he'd been working on.
"I figured." Savanah chuckled, shoving her fists in her pocket.
She walked inside, instantly feeling overwhelmed by the amount of people crowding the place.
"Alright ladies, I really have to get back to work now." Soda softly laughed.
They all awed before clearing out.
"Didn't you hear me Anna? I can't flirt, I gotta work." Soda smirked at Savanah.
"Real funny. I oughtta send you into readers digest or somethin', I hear they pay a lot of money for funny people." Savanah bit back a smile as she hopped on the counter.
"Thanks but I like working in a gas station." He gave her a cheeky smile.
"Because of the girls." She laughed as she stared down at her swinging feet.
"Exactly." Soda let out a loud laugh that caught the attention of a few girls in the back.
They stared at him admiringly before looking at Savanah, sending her a nasty look.
"Why is it that every single girl that sees me with you, instantly hate me?" Savanah asked as she spun around, facing Soda.
"They're just jealous Savanah." Soda shrugged as he counted the money in the register.
"But why? You, Sodapop Curtis, are a drag." Savanah smirked at him.
"Am I?" Soda placed his hands on her lower thighs, running them up into they met her hips.
"Stop it." She smacked his hands away.
She then heard a girl scoff behind her.
She turned around to be met by a girl that seemed to be her age.
She had short blonde hair.
She was skinny but curvy and had seemed physically flawless to both Soda and Savanah.
She had sparkling green eyes and amazing cheekbones.
Savanah instantly envied this girl, letting her insecurities get the best of her.
"Can I help you?" Savanah tried not sound bitter.
"No no. I'm just saying if I was his girlfriend, I'd let his hands all over me." She stated as she checked her nails.
Savanah raised her eyebrows in surprise.
Soda's eyes grew, his mouth dropped, and there was a lump forming in his throat.
To him, she was one of the most gorgeous girls he had ever laid eyes on.
He was a bit taken back. Girls flirted with him often but they'd never told him something so abrupt.
"First of all, I'm not his girlfriend, and second, who the hell are you?" Savanah scowled.
"Oh sorry for being so rude. The name's Sandy." She smirked, lifting her chin up.
