Hobi: I'm so nervous!

Hobi exclaimed as I observed him facing the mirror while the staff attended to his costume and hair.

It was a momentous day for BTS, with their latest comeback album, "Love Yourself: Her," just hitting the shelves. Here we were, backstage at KBS Studios, around nine in the morning, gearing up for the comeback performance on one of Korea's beloved music programs, Music Bank.

Backstage bustled with activity as each member of BTS was surrounded by staff, awaiting their turn to take the stage. I stood there with my chai tea latte, still adjusting to the time difference but feeling much more awake than before. My assistant Soohee stood by my side, offering her support.

Namjoon: Nervous? How can you be nervous? You're rarely nervous about performing.

Namjoon asked while sitting in his studio chair as the staff applied make-up on his face.

Hobi: I feel like this everytime we have a comeback.

Namjoon: Excited-Nervous.. I guess that makes sense.

Aria: I would think after performing more than a thousand times, nerves become a think of the past.

Jin: Believe it or not, but each of us still get nervous sometimes.

Jin stood casually beside me, seemingly aware of his height advantage as he glanced down at me.

Namjoon: Jin is right. We all still get nervous. I get the most nervous as the leader to make sure my members are straight and it can be overwhelming sometimes.

Aria: I always thought the oldest would be chosen as leader of their band. For example, Seokjin. He is the oldest, which means he is the most mature.

Taehyung: (giggles and raised his eyebrow) Hyung mature?

Hobi: He may be the oldest but mature is far from true (laughs).

Jin: Ya! I'm not mature?

Namjoon: You're mature when need be, Jin, but let's be honest, you can be a kid at heart. You could easily be mistaken for a maknae if your birth year was never mentioned.

Aria: So, who would you say is the most mature?"

Everyone murmured Yoongi's name in hushed tones, and there he was, seated on the other side of Namjoon, calmly having his hair tended to. Through the vanity mirror, he caught sight of me and his fellow members turning their attention to him. His eyebrows furrowed momentarily before easing into a relaxed expression.

Suga: I can't argue with that.

Jimin: Yoongi is an old soul but a cool soul in many ways.

Jungkook: Yeah, he is very hard-working, wise, and very versatile.

Jungkook stood beside me, seamlessly joining the conversation. As I glanced up at him, I couldn't help but notice his stylish attire - a blue silk shirt paired with sleek black skinny jeans. Just as our eyes met, I inwardly panicked. What could I possibly say in that split second to avoid embarrassment? I toyed with the idea of complimenting his appearance, which was undeniably impressive, but the words stuck in my throat. Swiftly, I redirected my attention back to the ongoing conversation, hoping to conceal my sudden fluster.

Hobi: Yoongi is very dedicated to his craft and always disciplined!

Namjoon: Yeah, Yoongi always seemed to have his shit together.

Yoongi: (giggles) Thanks...I guess.

Shortly thereafter, the stage director hurried in to inform them that they had only ten minutes before their performance. It was the cue for all the members to gather in a huddle. I observed each of them encircle one another, anticipation palpable in the air. Namjoon, assuming his role as the leader, stood poised to deliver words of motivation..
