After spending one night at the Inn, I got to0 antsy. I need to figure out what happened and who did it, maybe they deserve a good beating. So I gathered up my crew and decided to continue our services as a ferryman-pirate until I could get a lead. I decided to let The Barkeep keep my second night's pay. She genuinely was a good person and a hard worker.

I honestly didn't expect anyone to show up today, given the strange events of yesterday. Things haven't changed, the barkeep still didn't recognize me and neither did the ticket master. But when I saw a beautifully statured dark-skinned girl climbing up the ramp.

"Is this the ship to Tenebris?" She asked, her voice low and a bit intimidating. I snapped my mouth shut before composing myself.

"Uh yes, it is. We'll be making a stop in Mare first, though. Do you have any luggage?" I asked and she shook her head, her neat afro not moving a bit.

"How long do you think Mare will take? I have to meet someone tonight and I don't know what will happen if I'm late," She asked bluntly, clearly not up to conversation right now.

I gave it a thought, "Getting to Mare will take no less than, I'd say, ten minutes. Then, from Mare to Tenebris, that would take an hour, at most."

She made a face, "That should work. Thank you." She said, before walking away, closing herself up in the empty cabin. I bit lip, "Alrighty then,"

I waited for about 10 minutes and when no one showed up, I set sail. The crew worked together like one. Someone already in the crow's nest, looking out, sailing looked smooth. I nudged the co-captain, prompting hir to steer for a moment.

I sighed, fixing my locs, before knocking on the door. "Hey, it's me. I thought I'd keep you company."

She opened the door just a bit. "I'm fine. Thank you for offering." She said quickly, trying to close the door.

I caught the door with my hand and a strained smile, "I just have a few questions. See, something happened to me, something strange and with you being the only passenger to come to this ship and your suspicious mission to Tenebris, I figured you may have something to do with it."

She opened the door all the way, looking dejected, "Who died?" She asked, picking up a black drawstring bag, presumably filled with coins and digging through it. Almost like she was going to pay me?

My eyes widened, "What?"

"You said something happened to you and it had to do with me, who died?"

I shook my head, "No one died, it's just no one remembers me. So I guess you can say my identity died." She paused, looking up at me and squinting,

"That has nothing to do with me then," She said, slamming the door in my face.

I blinked, dumbfounded, that was a lot to process. I was sure she had something to do with it... No. I know she has something to do with it. I just get this vibe from her. That's a girl with a lot of secrets.

I decided to leave her alone right now and focus on getting to Mare.
