Behind the mask (EXO KAI VS HISTORY KYUNGIL)

chapter 17

Today is the day of the play. 

I was nervous back stage. Everybody was here like everybody. Scouts from many high standing companies. 

The music started and the intro played. My nerves are really getting the best of me right now. The weeks of prepartions were really a hassle. I never expected to work so hard for this role that i never really wanted. 

Alright i tried to calm my nerve and started the play. 

It was going smoothly. Soon i had to go off stage to change and quickly return to the stage. 

I checked my mic sofly one last time before going back on. huh? it's off? Suddenly through the music i could hear steps above me. Since it's all iron made. 

I looked above. It was mina with her minions. Ohhh i see... She noticed i was looking and smirked at me with a little wave. 

Well this was much expected that she would sabotage the play. Oh well i will let her enjoy the play for a bit. So i moved to the back. 

The backstage crew was surprised to see me back. 

''What are you doing here?? The song is about to begin!'' 

I took off the mic. ''Mina has sabotaged my mic. It's off.'' 

The sound guy came to test. ''huh? how? i was pretty sure it was on minutes ago.'' 

I honestly don't mind her stealing the show from me but honestly she could just ask me weeks ago if she could take the role instead of stealing. 

''Well do you wanna join in for revenge?'' i asked cheeky. 

I am very well aware how much of a pain she was against the backstage crew. Pretty sure they want payback! 

They all looked at me. ''how?'' 

I sign them to come closer and i whisper the plan.  The show started and everybody was surprised to see Mina on stage. 

Even the whole cast. However she knew the script all too well since she was supposed to be my stand in. Just in case if i couldn't. 

Kai and Kyungil were mostly flustered by this. 

Miss thirsty is really going far for Kyungil. I do admire her for that at least. 

I do feel pity for the guys that have to act as if they are rommanticly interested and the kiss scenes were so awkward. I felt so sorry. 

Soon we are reached the peak of the play. The music show. 

I was already changed and ready to go. I gave the sign. 

Suddenly the lights and music was turned off. 

Then a spotlight hits me and i started to sing the song in acapella. 

Everybody was surprised but soon they went along with it. When i say it so myself. I sang that song pretty dang well. 

Mina was all flustered  as her mic was turned off. Kai noticed what i was planning to do. 

Quickly went along with me. 

Mina quickly stormed off the stage. I smiled. Good riddance! 

When the song ended. Everybody cheered for us! 

I was feeling good. Honestly despite having this role was not the plan in the first place. I really did enjoyed doing this. 

Me and Kai were cheering it was over! we were still hold hands.
