Chapter one - The long day

Caroline's pov

    I woke up one morning in Mystic Falls to the smell of coffee, I knew my mum was awake which made me happy but also made me sad as she had to go to work most days.  I got up and took a shower, then I got dressed and went into to the kitchen to find my mum sitting at the kitchen table reading the news paper "Caroline I hope you enjoy your break away from school and maybe you might go and see Tyler today" said my mum "I will go and see Tyler" I said as I left the house.    

Klaus's pov

    I was at the Mystic Grill drinking a bourbon when Damon walked in and took a seat on the bar stool next to me "I didn't know you were a morning drinker" said Damon as he ordered a drink "well usually i'm not a morning drinker" I said as I got up and started to walk to the doors of the Mystic Grill when Caroline walked in "good morning love I wasn't excepting to see you here" I said with a smirk.  "I didn't know I would be coming here until I decided I need a coffee to go" said Caroline as she walked up to the bar (she looks so beautiful I can't stop looking at her) I thought to myself as she then looked at me over her shoulder.     

Tyler's pov

    I was outside kicking a ball around at home when my mum walked over to me "are you going to see Caroline today?" she asked as she folded her arms "yes I am going to, later but right now I am going to go see Jeremy" I said as I ran away from my mum and headed straight to Elena's house.  "Hello Elena I would like to see Jeremy" I said as Elena didn't even have time to ask me what I am doing at her house "he is upstairs in his room playing games" said Elena as she stepped aside so I could go and see Jeremy.  

Elena's pov

   "What's going on, I heard shouting?" I asked as I walked upstairs to Jeremy's room "Tyler is not in love with Caroline anymore and is breaking up with her" said Jeremy as I started to feel bad "you can't hurt my best friend" I said as Tyler got up and left the house.  "This is not over" I said as I got out my phone "if you call Caroline or text her I will walk out of here and you will not see me ever again" said Jeremy as he got up, grabbed some of his things and slowly started packing "fine I won't tell her as I don't want to lose you Jeremy" I said as I started to cry.

Caroline's pov

   I was sitting on a bench in the square when Tyler appeared out of no where "hello Tyler I was going to come and see you later" I said with a smile "Caroline we are done forever" said Tyler as tears started to come out of my eyes.  "Wait what do you mean?" I asked as he looked me in the eyes "I don't love you anymore and before you ask there is someone else, someone who makes me more happier then you ever did and I will always love them" said Tyler as he ran away fast.

Elena's pov

   I hope Caroline is not too hurt, I would of texted her if Jeremy didn't say he was going to leave, but I don't want Jeremy gone as he is the only close family I have left now ever since Klaus killed mine and Jeremy's aunt Jenna.  I felt my phone vibrating in my front denim jeans pocket, so I got it out and saw the caller id "hello Rebekah what did you want?" I asked as I answered "hi Elena, I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a girl's afternoon out around the town" Rebekah said "no, because the last time I did that you hurt me and I am not fooling for it" I said as I hung up.

Caroline's pov

  I went to the Mikaelson mansion in Mystic Falls, when Klaus opened the door with a smirk (god he is so handsome, but I don't and never will love him as he killed Elena's aunt Jenna) I thought to myself as I walked in through the door "hello love, it's so good to see you" said Klaus in his British accent as he closed the front door of the mansion.   "I am here to see Hayley" I said as Klaus started to look sad "well she isn't here right now, its only me who is here at the moment love" said Klaus as he looked right into my eyes (god his eyes are beautiful but I can't let myself fall for him I just can't) I thought to myself as we both stared into each other's eyes "please will you let her know I came to see her?" I asked as Klaus nodded, but he steel kept looking in my eyes "I have to go now as my mum is excepting me and if I am late home she will start to worry" I said as Klaus moved closer to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

Klaus's pov

    I didn't want Caroline to leave, I was so happy and calm that she came to the mansion without me inviting her, but then when she left I was sad and so I went to my painting room and I painted a painting of her, when I finished the painting of her I took it to her house and knocked on the door and vanished within seconds.      I then went to the Mystic Grill to get a drink when Tyler was their, I over heard him talking about how he didn't love Caroline anymore and that he broke her heart and how he fallen in love with Hayley (oh god now I know why Caroline wanted to see Hayley, I also now understand how hurt Caroline is) I thought to myself as I got up and went over to Tyler and took him outside.        I threw him against the wall "you broke Caroline's heart and now your in love with Hayley who happens to live at my mansion!" I shouted as Tyler tried to move, I held him against the wall "I don't love Caroline anymore and because I didn't love her anymore I thought I would brake her heart now before she finds out about me and Hayley" said Tyler "she already knows about you both!" I shouted as Hayley appeared out of no where "Klaus let him go!" shouted Hayley as my eyes turned yellow, I let Tyler go and ran away before I could hurt someone.

Caroline's pov

   "Caroline this painting was on the door step I assume it is for you since the painting is of you" said my mum as she noticed I was crying "what's wrong darling?" asked my mum "well Tyler broke up with me today and other than that it's been a long day" I said as I got up to give my mum a hug.  "Why don't you have a nice shower it would make you feel better" my mum said "I will" I said as I went to go and have a nice shower, all I could think about when I was in the shower is the kiss Klaus gave me on the cheek, I don't love him and never will but it was a very sweet kiss he did on my cheek.
