Chapter four - The dance

Caroline's pov

    I was at the Mikaelson mansion in Mystic Falls in the study sitting down with Klaus when Elijah walked in "Caroline may I have a private word with my brother?" asked Elijah as I nodded "brother lets go and talk in the entrance hall" said Klaus as he got up and walked away with Elijah (the private talk Elijah and Klaus were having in the entrance hall to the mansion was about Tyler wanting to kill me) Klaus walked back in the room and before he sat down he grabbed my hand and kissed it.    "I won't let anything happen to you love" he said "if Tyler wants to kill me he will probably try to kill my mum first" I said as I started to cry "my hybrids will help me protect you and your mum" said Klaus as he kissed my cheek to comfort me.

Tyler's pov

   I was at home in the living room when my mum walked in followed by Hayley "you can't kill Caroline as if you do Klaus will try to kill you" said Hayley as my mum nodded in agreement "I don't want to lose my son" said Carol Lockwood "fine but, Hayley you must promise me that you will never sleep with Klaus again" I said as Hayley nodded "I don't like the original hybrid and he doesn't fancy me, he only fancies Caroline so I won't be his one night stand ever again" said Hayley as my mum started to look shocked.      "You spent personal time together with the original hybrid? asked my mum "yes but only for one night and it will never happen ever again" said Hayley as she took a seat and turned on the tv only to be watching a tv show about werewolves.

Elena's pov

  I was at the Salvatore boarding house alone with Stefan "this is bringing back some memories of when we first got together" I said as Stefan smirked "we were a lovely couple until Damon came and made you fall in love with him" said Stefan as he started to look a little uncomfortable "I didn't mean to fall in love with your brother" I said as Damon walked in "Stefan would it help if Elena and I apologized to you?" asked Damon as Stefan nodded.   "I am sorry brother" said Damon as he looked at me "I am really sorry Stefan, I would like you to be my date to the dance tonight at the Mikaelson mansion" I said as Stefan took my hand and walked me to my car.

Klaus's pov

  I was at home in my mansion in my room getting ready for the dance when Caroline walked in looking beautiful as ever in a purple strapless ball gown what reached to the floor, "you look very beautiful love" I said to give Caroline a complement her hair was up in a bun with strands coming down by the side of her face "I wanted to look like a princess" said Caroline with a smile "you are my princess sweetheart" I said as she did a curtsy "well I will see you downstairs when you are ready" she said as she walked away slowly "I won't be too long" I said with a smirk as I continued on getting ready.    Around 15 minutes later I was ready and walked slowly towards the stairs only to find Caroline walking towards me "I thought you were already downstairs love" I said "well since I am your princess I thought it would be nice for me to wait so we can walk downstairs together" she said as she held out her hand for me to hold "you are more then just my princess love" I said as she smiled and we walked downstairs slowly.    Around 10 minutes later the dance began and I kept holding Caroline close to me and not letting her out of my sight just in case Tyler turned up "so what else am I to you then?" Caroline asked as she leant her chin on my left shoulder "well your my queen and, princess and my true love" I said as I kissed her cheek slowly "your my prince, and my protector and the guy of my dreams" said Caroline as she lifted her chin off my shoulder and kissed my lips.
