Chapter three - The note

Caroline's Pov

   I was asleep in the guest room of the Mikaelson mansion in Mystic Falls when I heard the door open "Klaus what are you doing in here?" I asked as I could feel his presence in the room "I wanted to check to see if you are okay love" said Klaus as he came and laid down on the bed and put his arms around me.       (I feel safe with his arms being around me) I thought to myself as I smiled "well as you can see I am fine" I said as I felt his breath against my ear "I will go and leave this room if you want me too sweetheart" said Klaus as he kissed my cheek "I don't want you to leave" I said as he kissed my cheek again.

Klaus's Pov

  I was in the guest room in my mansion with Caroline when she told me she didn't want me to leave (she is so beautiful, god I fancy her more than I did before) I thought to myself as I grinned "why did you paint a picture of me?" Caroline asked as she looked at me from the corner of her right eye "because you are beautiful" I said as she smiled.    "Me beautiful? I don't think so" Caroline said as she gave me a confused look "yes you are beautiful love" I said as she laughed quietly hoping I wouldn't hear her "I am so glad to be here where it is safe" said Caroline as she closed her eyes and fell back asleep.

Elena's Pov

  I was at home in Mystic Falls writing in my diary when Damon appeared out of nowhere "Elena, I am here to see Jeremy" said Damon as he stood in my bedroom doorway "well he isn't here right now and I don't know when he will be home" I said hoping Damon would leave me in peace "I only wanted to see if he knew about this note what Tyler left on my doorstep" said Damon as he walked over to me to pass over a note.    The note said (To Damon, I am writing this to you as a warning, if you help Caroline again I will kill you) I read the note to myself "you could try calling Jeremy on his cell phone" I said as there was a loud noise coming from downstairs "Elena stay here, while I go and check to see what it was" said Damon in a demanding way "but it's my house so I am going with you" I said as Damon nodded in agreement.

Damon's Pov

  I walked down the stairs in the Gilbert house followed by Elena only to find Tyler and Jeremy in the kitchen drinking a can of beer that had just come out of the fridge.    "Tyler, what are you doing here?" asked Elena as she had her arms folded "he came home with me" said Jeremy "Tyler I only helped Caroline to make sure she is safe" I said as Tyler started to look worried "now where is she?" asked Tyler as he looked a little upset "she is with Klaus at the Mikaelson mansion in Mystic Falls" I said as Tyler punched one of the kitchen cabinets "you handed her over to the original hybrid the one who can't be killed" said Tyler as he kicked the fridge.   "Please stop kicking things in the kitchen!" shouted Elena in a demanding voice "Elena, Damon is trying to get me killed" said Tyler as he kicked the fridge even harder than the first time "my brother can't be killed as if he dies you die Tyler" said Elijah as he appeared out of nowhere inside the kitchen of the Gilbert house.
