When Stephanie was done telling John the whole story, including about the man that raped her since she was six, the baby she thought was dead and who the man was that they took out of the house 3 days ago. Stephanie was now living with John in is other house because the one she was staying at is still a crime scene.
John comforted her through the whole story.
"You are such a strong woman to go through all of that and still become the woman you are."
"If you don't ever want to see me again I understand. I can find a motel."
"The hell you will, I want you to stay here, with me, permanently."
Tears rolled down Stephanie's face, but this time they were not tears of pain or sadness, she was the happiest she had ever been. Stephanie told him that she was going to quit the police force and become a private investigator. John told her that he supports her in anything she wants to do. Plus we need to find your daughter.
