Jin wore a navy blue suit that accentuated his long legs, his hair fluffy and combed. Light makeup enhanced his features as he joined his family at the prestigious hotel hall. As they arrived, Jin's eyes widened at the grandeur of the event.

"It's just a family function, right, Mom?" Jin asked, seeking reassurance.

Before his mom could respond, Mr. Kim Namjoon, Jin's father, approached with a warm smile. Placing a hand on Jin's shoulder, he explained, "They are family too, Jin. We celebrate not just blood ties, but the bonds of friendship and camaraderie."

Jin remained indifferent to the gathering, disliking such events. Though the attendees seemed close-knit, Jin sensed an underlying ruthlessness, knowing they'd exploit any opportunity for business gain. Walking closely with his parents, Jin noticed Kim Namjoon engrossed in conversation with his business partners, oblivious to Jin's presence..

Growing bored, Jin wandered around the hall, grabbing some light food to eat.

Meanwhile, Jungkook arrived at the dinner party, exuding majesty. With his hair slicked back, a designer black suit, and a youthful face, he commanded respect as the youngest CEO in the business world. Entering with Yoongi and his workers, Jungkook was greeted with bows and admiration.

After spotting Jin at the food stall, Yoongi contemplated saying hi, knowing Jin's connection to Jungkook. However, Jin was too far away, and Yoongi decided to wait until Jungkook finished interacting with others. Despite Yoongi's happiness for Jungkook and Jin's relationship, he couldn't shake his own concerns about age differences between him and Jimin Sighing, Yoongi couldn't help but think about his own feelings for Jimin. What if Jimin didn't want a relationship with him? The uncertainty weighed heavily on Yoongi's mind as he hesitated to take the next step.

As Jungkook spotted Jin after a few minutes, he wondered why Jin was at the event. Realizing Jin's father was a businessman, Jungkook assumed that's why Jin was present. Slowly, he began to walk towards Jin, smiling unknowingly. However, halfway there, Jungkook noticed Jin engaged in conversation with a young man, laughing together. Jealousy crept into Jungkook's heart and formed on his face as he observed the young man circling his arms around Jin's shoulder. Determined, Jungkook sped up his pace, heading towards Jin with a mix of emotions swirling within him.

Jungkook grabbed Jin's hand from behind, causing Jin's eyes to widen in surprise. Jungkook's expression remained stoic as he addressed Jin.

"Hey, hyung," Jin greeted nervously, smiling as he looked at Jungkook.

Bending down slightly to Jin's height, Jungkook whispered with jealousy evident in his every word, "Who is this?"

"Ahh... ah. Th-this is my cousin Ken," Jin stuttered nervously as he spoke. Jungkook smiled, satisfied with Jin's answer, reassured that there was no need to worry since Ken was Jin's cousin.

Ken slightly bowed to Jungkook before excusing himself, leaving only Jin and Jungkook together.

"It's a pleasant surprise to see you here." Jungkook asked Jin with a slight smile.

Jin felt the sweat dripping down his side, nervous about his father seeing him with Jungkook, fearing it could spell the end of their relationship.

"Mmhh... My mom tricked me," Jin explained, pouting cutely. "She told me it's a family gathering, but it turned out to be a business event or something. She knows I don't like these kinds of programs, so she lied to me."

Jungkook chuckled at Jin's cute pout, finding it endearing. "It's not that bad of a function, love," he remarked.

Jin pouted again, scrunching his nose. "For you it's not... I'm not even interested in business."

"Fine... You want to get out from here. I can take you," Jungkook offered with a warm smile.

"No, I'm fine. I think I'll go to my parents. They must be looking for me," Jin replied nervously, forcing a smile.

Jungkook found Jin's behavior odd but brushed it away, assuming Jin was afraid of his father seeing them together.

"Alright... I..." Jungkook began to respond before Jin suddenly interrupted.

"Hey, Mr. Jeon..." A tall man greeted him, catching Jungkook's attention.

Jungkook immediately bowed out of respect as Kim Namjoon, a big and successful businessman, approached.

"Good evening, Mr. Kim," Jungkook greeted with respect, noticing Namjoon's smile and dimples.

"What are you doing with my only son?" Namjoon chuckled casually, his tone light.

Jungkook was shocked by the sudden revelation but quickly gathered his thoughts. Meanwhile, Jin felt like he was having a heart attack, but Jungkook's reassuring smile .

"I didn't know he was your son, Mr. Kim... I apologize," Jungkook bowed again.

Namjoon smiled at the young successful man. "It's okay. Jinnie doesn't like these kinds of parties. I appreciate you keeping him company."

"Yeah, we talked about that. I never knew you had such a beautiful and kind son," Jungkook chuckled, making eye contact with Jin.

However, Jungkook's concern grew as he noticed Jin's pale complexion, uncontrollable sweating, and reddening face and ears. Jungkook became increasingly tense due to Jin's condition.

"Kind? Hahaha, I didn't know my son was very kind. Thank you," Namjoon responded with a smile."And he didn't attend any of the events because he always tells me he has exams or work at school."

Jungkook laughed along with Namjoon, finding it amusing that Namjoon thought Jin was not kind, he also know how stubborn Jin could be. However, Jungkook's smile faded as Namjoon continued speaking.

Sch-school?
