After the whole Mr. Schue quitting ordeal happened, Tori decided it was best to just forget about the whole thing and get back to her normal and routine life. Right now she was walking down the halls of McKinley High talking with Santana and Quinn, they were making plans for the upcoming weekend since it had been a while since they had hung out together.
As they were talking and laughing with each other, they stopped in front of Finn's locker.
"Hi, Finn, RuPaul". Quinn said greeting both Finn and Rachel, respectively.
"Hey". Finn said, greeting back his girlfriend.
"What are you doing talking to her?" Quinn asked her boyfriend, in a scolding voice.
"Oh..." Finn said, glancing over at Rachel as he tried to come up with a lie to tell Quinn.
"Science project - we're partners". Rachel lied for him.
Tori just rolled her eyes at this. They were definitely not partners. They weren't even in the same class together. "Christ Crusaders tonight 5:00, my house". Quinn says to Finn as she begins to walk away from him.
"Sounds great". Finn responded to Quinn, as she walked away with Santana in tow.
Tori now stands beside Finn, as he usually walks her to her next class which they share together.
"I didn't see you at rehearsals either". Rachel said to Tori.
Tori just sighed and rolled her eyes. "Yeah. Obviously that was the whole point of not showing up". Tori replied sarcastically.
"Look, I-I should go". Finn said to Rachel, stuttering a bit as he spoke to her. "We can't do Glee club anymore. It conflicts with..."
Rachel soon cut him off before he could continue, "Your reputation?" She asks him. "You've really got something, Finn, and you're throwing it away". Tori sighed impatiently and rolled her eyes at Rachel's pathetic attempts at trying to get Finn to stay in the glee club when even Mr. Schue didn't want to stay in the club.
"I-I'm gonna be late". Finn told Rachel.
"You can't keep worrying about what people think, Finn". Rachel told him. "You're better than all of them".
"Ugh! Let's go already!" Tori exclaimed impatiently, as she grabbed Finn and began to drag him away from Rachel and to their next class. Leaving Rachel standing by Finn's locker sad and alone.
"You told me we were going to the mall", Tori said, as she looked at the auditorium that her, Finn and Artie walked into. "This is so not the mall". In the mist of Tori pointing out Finn's lie to her, they also stumbled upon the rest of the glee club members arguing with Rachel about the choreography that she was trying to have them do.
As they walked further onto the stage, the rest of the New Directions finally took notice of them.
"This is a closed rehearsal". Kurt said to Finn and Tori.
"Look, we owe you guys an apology". Finn said to them, as he stopped pushing Artie's wheelchair. "We never should have quit. I don't want to be the guy that just drives around throwing eggs at people".
"That was you?" Rachel asked him.
"You and your friends threw pee balloons at me". Kurt told him, as Tori made a disgusted face.
"I know". Finn said to Kurt.
"You nailed all my lawn furniture to my roof". Kurt listed another wrong doing of Finn's.
"I wasn't actually there for that, but I'm really sorry". Finn said, apologizing to Kurt for his misdeeds against him. "Look, that isn't who I am, and I'm tired of it. This is what I want to be doing with you guys. I used to think that this was, like, the lamest thing on Earth, and maybe it is, but... we're all here for the same reason... 'cause we want to be good at something". Finn says.
"Artie, you play guitar, right?" Finn asked Artie, who nodded his head. "Think you could recruit the jazz band?"
Artie nodded. "I do have pull there". He replied.
Finn chuckled. "All right". He then looked over at Mercedes. "Mercedes, we need new costumes, a-and they have got to be cool. Can you do that?" Finn asked her.
"Damn, don't you see what I got on". Mercedes asked Finn, sassily but with a smile.
"Rachel, you can do choreography". Finn told her, as she smiled at him. He then turned to Tina.
"Tina, what are you good at?" Finn asked her.
"I-I..." Tina began to stutter out her answer.
"We'll figure something out for you". Finn interrupted her.
"And... what are you two bringing to the table, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears?" Mercedes asked Finn and Tori.
Tori smirked as her and Finn shared a look with each other before looking back at the rest of the glee club members. "We've got the music".
