chapter 2:

Marisa's prom dress above.

I got ready for prom and did all of my stuff. I simply lightly curled my hair, added light makeup, and wore converse because my shoes didn't show anyway. My mom was crying. I touched up my makeup while waiting for Nate to arrive. Soon I heard a knock at the door. My mom called me down. As i walked down i saw nate standing there. My dad knew Nate was a "good guy" only because of our dads working together.
"Wow mari you look fantastic"
"Thanks nate, i could say the same for you"
He held something behind his back and soon revealed a beautiful white rose corsage (spelled it wrong lol im tired). It was beautiful. My mom was freaking out and she took a picture. I grabbed my old fashioned Polaroid camera and had them take 2 pics, one for me and one for him. We waited for them to print out of the camera and then boom we were off.
We arrived and got more pictures. When we walked in almost everyone in his little group looked at us. Lizzy squealed and ran up to us with romero behind her. "You guys look so cute" she yelled. Soon nates group came up and we all just stood around and talked. I saw nate not talking to anyone so I grabbed him and took him out to the dance floor. It was a great time. When it was the last song we had to slow dance. Nate held onto my waist as i hugged my arms around his neck.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jack G and his date all cute and cuddly. Then i saw Lizzy and that dude that i didn't know who sat with nate. Then I saw romero with Chase who was his boyfriend. I say sammy and some girl. Then last but not least I saw Jack and Mallory swaying as he looked at me. I looked back and he ended up just resting his head on mallory's shoulder so I didn't see those blue eyes anymore.
We left the school and Nate took me home to change so we could go to some party. For the party i wore high-waisted black shorts, tribal crop top, and a black cardigan. Nate had a change of clothes in his car so he c.f. ame inside and changed. He did nothing fancy as well. He just wore a tank top and black jeans. We walked out of the house and to the party.

There was a lot of drunk people already dancing. I found Lizzy and Romero at the table so I sat with them. They were talking while I just looked around. Then I heard yelling. Nobody else seemed to notice. Mallory was crying and jack i guess was trying to explain himself. From what i heard they broke up o. The car ride here because jack said it was gonna be hard for him to commit and be somewhere different because of his fame. And i don't blame him. It looked like he kept saying I love you and i'm sorry. Mallory settled and came over to me. Being Nosey i asked what happened and she told me jack left her so she could be happy with someone who is physically there with him because of his fame he can't be physically there.

I just shook my head. By the end of the night the only person sober was Gilinsky and I so i asked him for a ride home. I went home and went to bed. Knowing graduation was in 3 days and there would be a party for that too.
