Kion and Rani Surprise attack

Part 10 The Royal Babysitter

They all made it back to the tree and they could see that everyone had gone to sleep but the night pride had just left for patrol. Kion sall them leaving and walked over to them. "Hi Kion" Baliyo said. ''Hi'' Baliyo, hey if you guys see anything weird today can you tell me because Scar is planning to come back and attack me and probably Bititi too.''

"Yes of course" Nirmala said. Kion smiled before walking into his layer with Rija and Sawa. Bititi watched the three lions disappear into their layer before walking into hers and fell asleep. Rija and Sawa curled up into little balls and fell asleep next to each other. Kion watched them fall asleep before walking over to Rani and sat down next to her. 

"So what did you talk about and what took you so long'' Rani asked. "Well we talked about what really happened to her and boy is she strong'' Kion said in shock. Rani smiled see I told you but what made you realize that. Kion looked over at Rija. Rani laughed''or should I say, what did Rija do.'' Kion smiled '' he and Sawa we're playing tag and Rija jumped up a tree and crawled on a branch over a rushing river. I jumped up there to grab him but slipped in doing so. I threw him onto the ground but I couldn't pull myself up back to the tree so Bititi jumped up in the tree and pulled me up.

Rani raised an eyebrow and smiled at Kion'' told you she was strong.''. Kion walked over to Rani and lay down next to her and closed his eyes. Rani lay down with Kion and placed her front paws on Kion's side.

Kion smiled knowing Rani was right there with him. "What do you mean you talked about what happened" Rani asked Kion with confusion. Kion opened one eye slightly to look at Rani'' I asked her what really happened and she said she overheard Scar talking to his followers about coming and attacking me!'' Kion had a look of worry in his eyes a d Rani noticed this. She rubbed her head agents Kion's in a comforting way. Kion smiled and kicked Rani's cheek. That made Rani blush as she rolled over onto her back. "Huuu Scar just makes me mad, and everything he has done is just too frustrating. Kion's scar began to hurt and he was pawing at it. Rani didn't want Kion to get too mad and lose control of the Roar and use it so she needed to think fast because she has not yet fully healed his scar. She decided to just talk to him in a soothing way, she didn't want to make him more mad with her actions.

Kion began growling but not at anything or anybody. "It's ok Kion I know you're mad but remember your training'' Rani said calmly. Kion started to calm down but not all the way. Rani cept taking,'' It's ok Kion come lay down'' Rani grabbed Kion's neck and pulled him down in a Playful way. Kion was laying down on top of Rani and his scar stopped hurting. Kion looked up at her''thanks I needed that'' Kion said while smiling at her. "Any time and just so you know if Scar really did try to hurt you I would rip him into shreds in two seconds''. Kion nuzzled his head into Rani's chest and fell asleep. After a little while of admiring Kion's beautiful brown eyes she fell asleep with a smirk on her face.

Kion woke up with Rani laying next to him and the cubs curled up next to her a little ways away. Kion stood up ,yaned, and stretched before walking over to where Rani was sleeping. Kion looked at the peaceful lioness sleeping on the royal rock and decided he was bored and wanted to wake her up. He mostly wanted to wake her cup because it was funny when she was mad but not that mad and also because she looked so cute sleeping and even more cute awake. Kion smiled and walked over to the other side of Rani and gently pushed her head. He knew this would not fully wake her up and she would just push his head away and that is just what he wanted her to do. 

Rani smiled and started to paw at Kion's face pushing him away'' mmff, Kion I don't wanna get up it's too early let me sleep" Ranni said in a sleeping voice with her eyes still closed. Kion smiled''okkk have it your way then. Kion put his front paws on Rani's back and pushed her off the rock. She landed on the ground with a thump. Kion fell on the floor behind her laughing while also waking Rija and Sawa up in the process. "Ooww'' Rani said while sleepily stood up,''fine fine I'll get up there you happy now'' Rani said in a playful but still annoyed tone staring into Kion's eyes. Kion smiled '' yes I am ''. Rani raised an eyebrow at him but still had a smile on her face. Kion took this as an opportunity and pounced on top of her.

Kion can hear a little scream coming from Rani and when he looked down at her he could see she had her paws covering her face in a protective way. Kion nudged his nose underneath her paws which made her giggle and take her paws off her face. Rija and Sawa were still sleepy so they laid their heads down and fell back asleep. Kion and Rani looked over at the cubs and smiled. 

Rani pushed Kion off of her making him fall onto his back so she could jump onto him herself. Kion and Rani were staring into each other's eyes admiring every detail without saying any words. Kion rapped his paws around Rani's neck and pulled her down into a kiss. Rani pulled away '' I love you Kion'' Rani said with pride. "I love you too'' Kion said. Rani smiled '' come on let's go get something to drink''. Rani got off of her and the king and queen walked off to the watering hole.

When they get outside they can see Bititi sitting in the sun looking over the horizon. Rani walks over to her'' hi Bititi you okay'' Rani asked. Bititi looked up at her '' O hay, ya i'm good just bored and thinking, but I know we will all be alright because I know that that strong lion behind you will protect us'' Bititi said in a teasing voice while gently pushing her with her paw. Rani looked behind her confused and sall Kion, started blushing, and got the joke. 

Kion sall that Rani was blushing and he knew Bititi had said something about them to her and he smiled watching them talk.

After about two minutes of talking Rani walks back to Kion where Bititi couldn't hear them''Hay Kion you know how we are always busy and needing to leave the cubs with Makini''Rani asked. "Ya why'' Kion questions. "Well... What if we always leave the cubs with Bititi unless we need her for a fight or something she could be like our royal babysitter.'' ''You know that's not a bad idea... and I do see her sometimes looking bored and she is good with them so I say go for it. "yay come on let's go tell her.

Kion and Rani walk over to Bititi with smiles on their faces. 

Rani: Hay Bititi are you bored all the time because you are used to having a job to do,Rani asked 

Bititi: Ya why? 

Kion: because we might have a way to help you out with that.

Bititi: Hu what do you mean?

Rani: how would you like to be our royal babysitter, you seem to do good with the cubs and they seen to like you?

Bititi's face lit up with joy and excitement in her eyes''riley i'd love to thank you.'' 

''Great come on let's go tell the cubs'' Rani stated. They all started to walk back to the Tree Of Life but Bititi couldn't contain herself she was just too excited!
