Cerberus gently followed me back into the tunnel. Its three heads perked up at the sight of the torches that lined the walls, and its eyes widened as well. Cerberus was more alert now, as it could faintly see in the tunnel's darkness. Cerberus's eyes shone with determination as they expressed their protectiveness for me.

We continued to walk and then reached the end of the tunnel. The tunnel gate was locked, but it wasn't that hard for me to pick. I started to open the door and slowly felt the crisp, fresh air. Smelling the air was refreshing; it was like somebody was taking fresh goods out of the oven. The feeling of being outside again felt good. "Come. What I wanted to show you is right through here. There is a path right through these two trees. If we follow, it won't be able to get there. Just stay close to me."

Cerberus perked up its ears as it heard birds chirping and the wind blowing. Cerberus nodded as I guided us down the little path. Its body was tense as it tried to stay close to me.

Cerberus relaxed as it sensed my comforting presence, its body loosening with each step. "Hey, it's okay. This is a haven; there is no need to work it all up." I smiled softly, trying to comfort it better. I walked over to stand beside it and started to put all three heads on it. "How does that feel? Do you feel a little better?"

Cerberus relaxed even more as it felt my comforting presence. It seemed to relax with each step. Cerberus's muscles loosened as it walked alongside me. Cerberus's three heads leaned against me, feeling more comfortable and protected. Cerberus's body relaxed even more, and its tails swung slowly and gently behind it.

Cerberus felt a little safer with me by its side. The three heads kept nodding as if it felt better, and the third head even slightly smiled as it looked at me.

I smiled softly, knowing I could comfort them as they could comfort me. As we continued walking through the little forest, I noticed the tree I was telling them. " Look, this is still the location of the tree I was telling you about." As we walked closer, we started to hear footsteps and voices.

Cerberus perked up its ears as it heard the footsteps and voices. The three heads all tilted their heads as they focused on the noises. Cerberus's bodies tensed, feeling as if something nearby was dangerous.

Cerberus's eyes looked toward the noises as it prepared itself for what it had to face. The three heads turned back to me, noticing my expressions as I heard the footsteps and voices.
