Chapter 2 - Pastor Rob & his wife Molly

'Will she be mad?' The silence seemed so long there was ringing in my ears. I kept fidgeting with my fingers when a  slightly bigger hand stopped me 'they're soft' I thought "Why do you keep messing like that huh? Are you nervous? scared?" 'options are good' ...."scared" I said just above a whisper, silence came once again but her hand was still on top of mine. "Adriana I know I can be mean, I yell, I scare you and your sibling all the time but I would never NEVER" she emphasized with tears in her eyes " blame you, yell at you, hit you if someone did something to you or whatever it is that happened but please, please tell me what happened, no one has told me anything they're just talking around it, so I'm begging, let me help you por favor mija" Tears were now falling down her face. I looked at our hand again.

"The first time it happened was when me and Luna went to Kentucky with them pastor Rob and his wife  Molly" I began "Molly asked Luna to help her pack in her room and told me to help Rob getting things into the car, on a trip out he pulled me aside and asked if I could help him with something in the garage. I followed him inside and he told me to wait for a little bit while he did something inside the trunk. I was just playing with some of the tools on the ground when he called me over but his back was faced toward me "give Ito a hug" he said and I did but as soon as I did he grabbed my hand and moved them around, I don't know what he was doing my arms where getting stretched around him and it felt like he was just massaging my hand on something sort of squishy but then he said "squeeze hard"  I was confused and wanted to see what it was so I tried unwrapping my arms around him to look but he would still have my hand and move around" Her left hand was gripping the steering wheel so hard her knuckles turned white, and her forehead had crinkled a little bit more. "when he did let me go he immediately left running out the garage door and I didn't see him for a bit so I went back inside the house, after a couple minutes he appeared coming inside saying we had to go, as I walked to the car he picked me up, put me in my seat and put my seatbelt on when he finished he looked at me but didn't say anything just looked and then said "you cant tell you parents or they can get in trouble and you don't want that right?" I immediately shook my head, he smiled and said "thank you" patting my leg and then closing my door as his wife and my sister came out the house moving towards the car"

I kept going there was nothing stopping me now "he didn't do anything after that and for a while, I didn't really think much of it but I didn't like staying near him to much either just long enough to be normal" I said "I thought nothing else like that would happen but we kept going over every so often. One day after service, I was playing with Natalie outside and then he started looking for her, calling her name out, she immediately shrieked and started running towards him but I didn't want to see him so I tried hiding around the house. It worked for a bit I heard him go inside with Natalie and talking to the others so I stayed outside and played with the plants, I was playing with the ones to the side of the house when I turned at the sound of footsteps but he was already in front of me grabbing my arm, I tired getting away pulling on my arm to run but he wouldn't budge he was pulling me toward the garage again, my wrist started to hurt from the pulling and then, we were in the garage again. He wrapped my arms around him as before but instead of what I felt last time it felt weird, it was warm and kind of wet he kept telling me to squeeze but I kept trying to unwrap myself, he then grabbed my hand and started squeezing with his on top, he wasn't letting go so I thought if I squeezed as hard as I can he would let go and I tired but he would unclench my hand so I tried digging my nails in really hard and he let me go running out again, and I ran inside the house sat next to dad on the couch and didn't move" her hand was slightly trembling "was that all Adriana?" after a slight pause "no" I said "go on I'm still listening"

I told her everything "One time when we went to the assembly we stayed in a hotel with a poll, I wanted to go see it but Luna and Santi didn't want to go, I guess he heard me say it and said he could take me you guys said okay and Natalie was coming so I didn't think he'd do anything, we went inside the pool room he let us run around it and touch the water, as we were leaving he slowed me down by grabbing my arm, once I faced him he pulled down my shirt and kissed my chest, he kept making sure Natalie wasn't looked and kept doing it until I pushed him away and left to Natalie and stayed with her until I saw you guys again finishing checking into the room. The last time he did something was in the fancy living room of his house. We had come over from the meeting to eat with them, I was playing with Natalie when she knocked down a bunch of books, I started picking them up when he came in with her in her arms to see what happened he saw me picking them up and left and I tried leaving the room when I finished but as I was leaving the room he was coming in again, he grabbed my arm again, I tried pulling again and again but he picked me up sat down to the side of the entrance on one of the red chairs and he made me sit on his lap, he started moving his hand in between my legs and my chest too, I started crying and he covered my mouth continued doing it until I was crying to much and stopped, he wiped away my tears and patted my leg to leave so I ran back to the living room with you guys" I had stopped talking now, after looking at her hand for so long I decided to look at her

She was looking ahead maybe looking at the tree, the playground or nothing at all I'm not too sure what was going on in her mind but we stayed like that for a while. It wasn't uncomfortable it was rather peaceful I definitely felt lighter after telling her. After a few minutes she looked at me "I have failed you as a mother Adriana and I am so sorry, but I promise you I will send that bastard to where he belongs and I will not stop until he gets what he deserves okay" her hands now firmly holding on to mine "and he will never do this to you or anybody else ever again"

Molly - Wife of pastor Rob
