Hopeless

Chapter 2

Arielle starts to quietly sob, the man says in a calm but threatening voice "Now young lady you're going to follow me and not say a word, or my firearm will point up in your direction and I will easily pull the trigger. Not even a yes sir." Arielle nods her head and follows closely behind him as they walk to his car. The man opens the backseat door and Arielle gets inside the car, he slams the door and gets in. The man says, "Before we drive remember my name is Sean, but I still expect you to say nothing, one last thing if you have any watches or secret electronics hand them over." Arielle has an apple watch on but disobeys Sean and tucks her watch in her sweater sleeve. The car begins to move, and she cannot see out the window, there is a black cover over it. She feels the car get faster as they move, Arielle does not know what to do and feels hopeless, she sees Sean continuously looking in the mirror at her. Her watch sends a notification from her boyfriend, and it makes an audible noise, "did you not hand me all your electronics" Sean says in a serious voice, while looking at the back seat. Sean gives her permission to speak, Arielle nervously says "N-no I promise I gave them all to you it was my phone in the front seat". Sean doesn't believe her and says, "Oh really because it sounded like it came from back here, I saw you tugging on your sleeve, I'm going to repeat myself, hand all of your electronics over." Arielle pushes her apple watch more up her arm then lifts up her sleeve to show Sean she has no watch on. A few more minutes pass by, the car continues driving then finally the car stops and they've arrived.
