The Descent into Darkness
Rage consumed Jaime like a wildfire, burning away the last vestiges of his innocence and leaving behind nothing but smouldering embers of fury and despair. His chest heaved with each ragged breath, the air thick with the acrid scent of betrayal. How dare they? How dare they betray him in such a brazen manner, flaunting their infidelity as if it were nothing more than a trivial inconvenience?
But beneath the rage, beneath the hurt and the betrayal, there lurked something darker, something primal and unyielding. It whispered to him in the recesses of his mind, a seductive lure beckoning him towards nothing but danger and things he would regret. "Embrace the chaos," it hissed, its voice, coiling like a snake around his thoughts. "Embrace the darkness within."
And as he gazed upon the woman who had dared to utter those damning words, Jaime felt something within him snap. It was as if a floodgate had been opened, unleashing a torrent of violence and rage that threatened to consume him whole. His vision blurred with a red haze, his hands trembling with the anticipation of retribution.
In that moment, Jaime ceased to be the boy who had once believed in love and hope. He became something else entirely, a creature of the night driven by pain and vengeance, his every thought consumed by a burning desire for revenge. The darkness whispered sweet promises of power and control, urging him to unleash his fury upon the world. With a primal roar, Jaime lunged forward, his fists raining down upon the woman who had dared to betray him. He felt no sort of empathy. All he felt was power and things he had never known which were now within his grasp. Each blow fueled the flames of his rage until they burned brighter than the sun itself.
And as the room descended into chaos, Jaime knew that he had become something far more dangerous than he had ever imagined. He was no longer a victim of circumstance. He was a predator, a hunter stalking his prey through the tangled undergrowth of his shattered psyche. It was like a completely different person, who was keen on opting for violence and infliction of pain as a perverse sense of satisfaction. He felt like all the pain and heartbreak he went through was finally worth it. Seems like everything was for a reason."This is my fate" Jaime whispered to his inner demons which had awaken
For in that moment, he wanted to no longer be the one who was hurt. He wanted to be the one who inflicted the pain. And in his twisted mind, that was all that mattered.
