Piper POV:

I sat in Central Park and watched the people who walked by, rushing around or walking for exercise. As I sat there I felt someone sit on the bench beside me, I looked over and saw Eros, I instantly rolled my eyes, made a small scoff, and looked back to the people.

"What's wrong, sister?" Eros asked, sounding rather amused at my reaction.

"You being here," I said, crossing my right leg over my left.

He made a noise of mock offense, "I'm sure I'm not that bad."

"Oh, shall I list the ways?" I asked, looking at him with mock innocence.

"Gods, you are annoying... So, are you waiting for someone?"

I blinked like I'd been hit over the head, "No, wh-why would you ask me that?"

Eros smirked as if I'd answered with 'Well, duh!' then spoke, "Well, who are you waiting on?"

"First name, Nun, second, Ya, last name Business."

"Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena?"

"NO," I said a bit too quickly and a bit too loudly, feeling my face redden.

"Believe it or not, it's pretty obvious that you like her."

"Fuck off."

"You two take walks almost every day, and talk each other's heads off, Hades, when she's upset or hiding in her room, you're the first to rush over to her."

"First of all, when she was upset, our mother told me to find Annabeth."

"And second?"

"Second... You're an asshole."

"Because I'm right?"

"No..."

"You know mother talks about her little 'ships' with me, as well, right? Especially the ones that include you."

"Oh, gods," I said, burying my face in my hands. "Kill me now."

"Couldn't. I mean, I could, but I'd be in trouble. And you'd probably get back up in a few hours."

I shrugged, "Fair enough, I guess. Can you leave, now?"

Eros looked down the path before turning back to me and speaking, "Very well, by the way, your girlfriend's here."

"She's not my-" I started, but he cut me off by disappearing.

Annabeth walked over, she looked a bit anxious, in all honesty.

"Hey, Pipes, can I sit?"

"Sure."

She took a seat on the bench and then began talking, "So, I was looking for you because I really need to tell you something, but I'm not sure how you'll respond, and I'm honestly scared out of my mind, and I don't know what made my come but I'm here now, so-"

I cut her off, "Annabeth, breathe, you're rambling and talking kind of fast."

She took a breath before continuing, "I, uhm, there's someone I met, and I kind of really like them."

I felt a small pain in my chest, did she like someone else? But, I just smiled and listened. "Really?"

"Yeah."

"Well, can you tell me about this person?"

"They're a demigod, well, they were, their godly parent chose them to live on Olympus."

"Who?"

She went silent for the count of three, then muttered something.

"What?"

"You!" She blurted out, then seemed to regret it and clamped her hand over her mouth.

I wasn't sure what to say for a moment, then I spoke, "I love you, too, Annabeth Chase."
