"Am I doing the right thing?" Thought by Rohit looking at Virat's sleeping figure. They returned from their dinner date 1hour ago and now Virat was sleeping soundly feeling tired of the day but sleep was far away from Rohit's eyes. Ro's mind was saying something and heart was saying something else.
Next morning
" Rohit Ro wake up. Ro wake up it's time we will get late" Virat was trying to wake up Ro but he was in deep sleep
"Rooo if you don't wake up in 5seconds I will throw cold water on you" warned by Virat
"1...2....3...4....and"
"NOO I'm up look I'm not sleeping talking with you sitting on bed" said by Ro with a scared expression waking up hurriedly
"Good now go and freshen up. We have to leave for practice in 30minutes" said by Vi. Ro went to washroom.
They went to team bus after getting ready. Team was already present there. Everybody was sitting with their besties or roommates and Rohirat sit with each other too.
The day went as usual. They returned to hotel after practice but Rohirat's sudden closeness took everyone's attention. They never saw Rohit talking to someone this much rather than Mahi. They were happy too.
At Night
"What are you thinking?" Asked by Ro seeing Vi looking at nothing. They are sitting on balcony floor. They had their dinner sometime before.
"Nothing" said by Vi looking at Ro with a smile.
"Why are you lieing Vi?" Said by Ro with a little hurt in his tone
"It's nothing like that I just" Virat stopped in mid-way not knowing what to say
"Are you not comfortable to share your problems with me? Don't you consider me as a friend?" Asked by Ro
"Obviously I do Ro. It's just I don't know how to share my thoughts with someone in words I just don't know" said by Vi looking down. Ro looked at Vi and felt sad so he put Vi's head on his lap and start stroking his hairs.
"I understand Vi not fully but thoda thoda" said by Ro with a small smile caressing Vi's hairs. Vi was looking at him not knowing how to react so he just closed his eyes feeling warm
"You know my mother used to caress my hairs like this only whenever I felt stressed or upset and I used to feel relieved after this" said by Ro with a small smile remembering his mother. Vi looked at him with sad smile remembering his mother too
"Ahh I said leave my hairs it's hurting please"
"See you are still lost" said by Ro breaking Vi's thoughts.
"Ohh sorry I was thinking about my mother too" said by Vi while blinking his hairs to prevent tears.
"How are you feeling Vi?"
"Don't know but accha lag raha hai" Rohit smiled at Virat's reply
"Accha Vi if I ask you something will you answer me honestly?" Asked by Ro looking at Vi with a serious expression. Virat looked at him confusingly
"What's that?" Asked by Vi.
"First promise me you will be honest"
"Accha ok promise. Now say"
"What incident caused you to be a claustrophobic?" Asked by Ro. Virat looked at him with a shocked expression.
"I...I'm claustrophobic from birth" said by Vi not looking at Ro
"Nobody borns with phobia Virat. Please tell me if you consider me as friend" said by Ro holding Vi's hand tightly
"I...I...can't...you shouldn't know this"
"Please Vi" Virat closed his eyes not knowing what to do now. He start getting flashbacks of the incidents in which his mother used to lock him in a complete dark room for 2days. Virat was trying to not remember that but it was not in his control.
"They...used....to...lock...me...that.... that...roo...room...was...so...so...dark" said by Vi burying his face in Ro's stomach.
"Who are they Vi?" Asked by Ro caressing Vi's hairs to calm him down
"I...can't...please" said by Vi in a vulnerable tone. Ro too didn't asked anything seeing Vi getting worked up. They just sat their in a comforting silence.
"Vi let's go inside or we will catch cold" said by Ro after sometime only to find Vi already sleeping. Ro don't want disturbed his sleep so he pick Vi in bridal style and took him to bedroom. He lay Vi down on Vi's side and he too lay on his side.
"Please" mumbled by Vi in sleep with a frown. Ro heard it and took Vi in a hug. Vi too clinged to him feeling the warmth. Ro too slept after sometime.
