*Beep* "We will soon be arriving in Jeju Island" Yoomi jerked in her seat, awaken from the abrupt announcement.
"Morning" Jin smiled shyly at her
Yoomi sat up straight in her chair as she felt embarrassed at the way she was sleeping.
"Morning" She said shyly
"Look" Jin pointed. Yoomi look out the tiny window to see an island in the distance.
Jin moved closer to stare out the window. "There's a mountain" He pointed
Meanwhile, Woohyun stared at them feeling uneasy from the row of seats beside them.
"Oppa" Jiwon whispered while nudging his arm. "We're landing"
"Oh, yae" Woohyun snapped out of his gaze
-*-
After getting their luggage, they took a taxi to the destination.
When they arrived, they stood in front of a hotel where the business event occurred.
Yoomi went upstairs to settle her things in her room before going down to attend the event after changing into a light blue dress.
Meanwhile, out in the open behind the hotel where the event being held, Jin and Woohyun all dressed in suit and tie greeted other guests.
"You two aren't an item, right? You and Yoomi." Woohyun asked and took a sip of his drink
Jin looked at him in surprise by the sudden question. "Well.. No. We're not dating.." His heart starts to race
"Oh.!" Woohyun took another sip of his drink. He stared to the front and watches Yoomi walking down the steps to join the party. Jin followed his gaze and was amazed at how beautiful she looked.
"So!.. It's not that you don't have feelings for her, but you just refuse to ask her out" Woohyun said nonchalantly with a slight smirk of relief.
Jin shot a look at him of displeased and dumbfound by the fact that he knows he has feelings for Yoomi. On the other hand, Jin could feel his blood starting to boil as he didn't like where this discussion was heading.
"What are you trying to say?" Jin scowled slightly
Woohyun let out a puff. ".. I like her."
Jin could feel his temper about to explode when it reminded him how Woohyun played with Yoomi and broke her heart. "What.?" He glared at Woohyun with rage eyes.
Woohyun puckered his lips and smirk and turned to face Jin. "I said.. I like Yoomi" He stared sternly into Jin's eyes.
"What is this nonsense.? You have a girlfriend" Jin said, trying to hold in his temper a little longer
"Jiwon? .. I'll break up with her" Woohyun said bluntly
".. What are you?" Jin scoffed at his ridiculous words.
"Yoomi-ah.. Shin Yoomi.. Beautiful name isn't it?" Woohyun said wanting to start something
"I won't let you toy with her emotions anymore..!" Jin gritted his teeth
"Don't worry, I won't" Woohyun plastered a smile, but his eyes are like lasers.
"If you carry on like this, you're gonna get hit" Jin glared at him and his breath starts to shorten
Woohyun laughed mirthfully to himself. "Do it" He cockily gave Jin a shove then tilt his head to the side to exposed his cheek at Jin.
Jin couldn't hold back anymore as he swing his arm, giving a harsh punch across Woohyun's face. Woohyun staggered to the side and touched the side of his lips to see a thin line of blood on his finger. His anger starts to rise as he marched towards Jin who was fixing to leave.
Woohyun grabbed Jin by the collar with gritted teeth. "You bastard! Ah!" He fling backwards after Jin attacked him with another punch.
"Ayesh!" Woohyun growled in rage as he tackled Jin to the ground, crashing and knocking some tables down.
Punching, tumbling, and grunting the two fought in the grass while people gossip about.
Yoomi was talking to some directors when she saw the commotion. She quickly ended the discussion and rushed over to them.
"Yah, what are you doing?!" Yoomi shouted, trying to shove Woohyun off of Jin. Woohyun struggled and without thinking he pushed Yoomi away causing her to stumble to the ground.
Meanwhile, Jiwon went around asking and searching for Woohyun when suddenly she saw him shoving Yoomi to the ground.
"Yah! Stop it!" Yoomi used all her strength to push Woohyun off but no use. Jiwon came running and tried separating the two when Yoomi and Jiwon both got stumbled to the ground.
"Stop!" Yoomi grabbed Woohyun's collar from the back and tried pulling him off. Without knowing it was choking him.
"Unnie!" Jiwon shriek as she marched up to her, trying to pull her hands off of Woohyun. When there was no budge, she yanked onto Yoomi's hair.
"Ah! Let go!" Yoomi exclaimed breathlessly, when Jiwon got mad that she thought Yoomi was choking Woohyun on purpose.
"No!" Jiwon shouted, swaying Yoomi from side to side by the hair.
"Ah!!" Yoomi uttered as the fight switched onto the girls.
Woohyun and Jin paused and glanced at each other when they realized their date are now fighting.
Woohyun quickly rushed over and pulled Jiwon off of Yoomi while Jin helped her up.
"Yah, unnie.. If you lay your finger on Woohyun oppa again, I won't let it slide!" Jiwon said out of breath
"Come on" Jin whispered. He took Yoomi's hand and start leading her away.
"Eh Jin!" Woohyun called. Yoomi and Jin stopped and glanced back. Woohyun stared at Yoomi for a moment then over to Jin. "I won't hold back anymore" Woohyun said sternly
Jiwon began to wonder. ".. Hold back?" She gaped
Jin took a breath before walking away with Yoomi in his hand.
Leaving the party behind them, Yoomi and Jin went into the hotel and stayed in the closest room, Yoomi's room.
She carefully set him down onto her bed while she took off searching for the safety kit.
She rushes back and start nursing his wounds.
"What are you going to do? An employee hitting their boss.." Yoomi asked with concern as she focussed on applying medicine onto his wound. "Why did you had to use your fist? Your parents will be so disappointed if they see you like this.." She paused when she notice Jin staring at her. "W-what?.. Did I say something wrong..?" She stuttered, nervously.
"Aniyo.. thank you" He said
"For what?" She laughed nervously
"Just.. for being here with me" Jin said peering into her eyes
The two locked eyes for a moment until something fell out of Yoomi's lap.
"Omo" She squirmed about to pick it up when Jin got there before her.
"Your arm" He pointed, spotting a small scratch and some bruises on her arm. "Here" He tenderly disinfected her arm, then wrap her arm in bandages.
"Thank you" Yoomi smiled shyly
Jin looked at her with tired eyes and a warm smile.
Just then Jin sluggishly tipped forward and rest his head onto her stomach.
Yoomi fell backwards in surprised. She arched her neck and glanced down her body to see Jin asleep. She let her body fall into the sheets and could feel her heart pounding and racer faster.
-MeanWhile: Woohyun and Jiwon's POV-
"How could you like her?!" Jiwon cried in tears and with anger.
"Calm down! How many times do I have to tell you, I am dating you! Not her!" Woohyun exclaimed with frustration
"But that doesn't mean anything! You still like her!" She screamed
"Right! I like her.." He lowered his voice
"What?!" Jiwon furiously grimace. "Ayesh!" She threw her wallet to the ground. "We're done!" She scowled
"Fine, let's break up" Woohyun said, bluntly
Jiwon looked at him with sad eyes as she couldn't believe her ears.
"Don't bother calling me 'oppa' anymore. Just call me 'ahjussi' from now on" He tried pushing her
Jiwon whimpers then starts to cry.
"Ah, wae..? Why are you crying?" Woohyun asked a bit irritated
"How could you...!" She broke into tears as she shoved Woohyun. He loses balance and staggered backwards into the pond.
"Wae!!" She plopped to the ground and stomps her feet about.
-Back in Yoomi's Room-
Yoomi carefully sat up while cradling Jin's head, trying not to wake him up, to her lap.
"So much happened today.." She said, caressing his head and stroking his hair.
『 "I won't hold back anymore" Woohyun said, staring hard into Jin's eyes. 』
"What was that about..?" She muttered to herself. She looked down at Jin's peaceful sleeping face. She remembered back at all the times he had helped her; he got her job back, made her smile, took care of her when she was sick, and more.
"Does this mean... you love me?" She thought
