Next morning. The dark clouds began to disappear as the blue sky and the sun brightens the city.
Yoomi awoken by a mouthwatering smell and found herself in bed. She sat up drowsily and glanced around her room.
".. Was this a dream?" She asked herself, remembering little scenes from last night where Jin came over to her house and the thunder scaring her which caused her to fall onto Jin.
She shook her head to get back to her senses. "Aniya, it was a dream.." Just then, she started to sniff the aroma swirling in the air. ".. But what's this smell..?" She asked herself and got out of bed
She followed the smell down and out the hall.
Once she saw the reason of the smell, she stopped in place and stared blankly at the person working in her kitchen.
Suddenly, her stomach growled loudly as if the world could hear. She widen her eyes and covered her stomach with her hands before rushing into the bathroom to brush.
After brushing, she head out into the kitchen.
"Oh, you're up early" Jin said spotting Yoomi approaching
She sat down at the counter and watches Jin as he prepared breakfast. "Uh, how long have you been awake?" She asked
"Since your fridge was pretty empty, I got up extra early to buy some groceries.." Jin said while chopping up the veggies
"Really...?" Yoomi frowned, feeling guilty for him to get up early and come home to prepare breakfast for her
"How come there aren't anything in your fridge? Do you eat out a lot? Or you just don't eat?" Jin chuckled
"I can't cook.." Yoomi said and frowned
Jin carefully placed the chopped up veggies into the pan. "Well, if you can't cook.. I'll teach you"
Yoomi perked up and sat up straight. "Really?" She exclaimed
Jin looked up at her and smiled brightly.
Yoomi sat there watching and admiring his quick hand movements, this was the first time she sees him cooking since the day he came to work due to worrying that he might found out he had kissed her that night. "Maybe he doesn't remember.." She thought
After the delicious breakfast the two got ready for work, but before arriving at the restaurant they stopped by at Jin's house so he could get changed into new clothes.
Yoomi sat quietly and patiently in the car.
Just then, she spot Sohyun exiting the house as JungKook was walking up the street towards the car.
Yoomi panicked with widen eyes not knowing what to do when they see her in Jin's car.
She quickly crouch down while covering her face with her hands as her hair falls to the side.
Suddenly, she hears voices and knocks on the passenger's window.
"Unnie! Noona!" Sohyun and JungKook excitedly banging on the window
Yoomi looked away in shame before slowly rolling down the window.
"Wha~ good morning, unnie. It was a surprise to see you here this morning. Did you slept well last night?" Sohyun teased and giggled
"Noona, you seem different today" JungKook smiled
"Mm, even prettier than the last time we met" Sohyun added
"Or you can say.. you're glowing. Did something good happened?" JungKook joked
"Yah, stop playing dumb, you two" Yoomi said
"Wae? We know this glow.. it's love!!" JungKook and Sohyun continues to teased
"You--" Yoomi got interrupted
"Trust us, we're the Love Experts!" Sohyun and JungKook smiled brightly from ear to ear
" 'Love Experts' my butt" Jin came out once he finished changing
"Oppa, we were just keeping Yoomi unnie company" Sohyun giggled
"Really?" Jin opened the divers' door and paused. "Are you guys not leaving? You're gonna be late for school" He said
"We're not late" Sohyun said cutely
"Here, get in. I'll drop you guys off before going to work" Jin said
"Aniyo.. It's okay. We don't wanna get in the way of you two lovers" JungKook and Sohyun did their final tease before taking off running and skipping down the sidewalk.
"Yah! Ayesh.." Jin shook his head and got into the car. He sighed and took a moment to think of what to say. "Sorry.. About those two"
"Aniya, it's alright. They're.. kids" Yoomi chuckled
-At the Restaurant-
A moment later when the restaurant finally settles down, Woohyun came into the kitchen where Yoomi works.
"Yoomi-ah" Woohyun said
"Uh, yae" Yoomi quickly stopped what she's doing and put full attention on him
"I'm here" Just then, Jin came in
"Great, now we can start" Woohyun clapped his hands together
Yoomi and Jin looked at each other. "Start what?" Jin asked
"My special surprise dinner event" Woohyun smiled
"For who?" Yoomi asked
"Aniya, not telling! Let's just say.. someone that makes me smile everyday" Woohyun smiled
Within that, thousands of excitement sparks shot out into the air like little fireworks exploded above her as she thought he was talking about her.
"So.. Is there something you wanted us to do?" Jin asked
"Ah, yae.. Jin-shii, by tomorrow evening.. do you think you can come up with some dishes for the event?" Woohyun asked
"Of course" Jin said
"Great! And Yoomi-ah.. can you prepare some cakes and desserts? Something that.. reminds you of your lover" Woohyun said
"Lover?" Yoomi mutters as millions of ideas flew through her mind
"Alright, I'll leave it to you two" Woohyun smiled, pulling out his phone once he receive an incoming call
--
While Jin went over to the freezer to get some ingredients, he stopped and notice Yoomi sitting at the dinning table with a sketchbook placed in front of her, but instead of sketching she was too busy admiring Woohyun from afar.
Jin sulky looked away and went back to getting the ingredients out of the freezer.
Meanwhile, Yoomi quietly watches Woohyun's reflection on the mirror that was hung against the wall where he stood just around the corner that is hidden from sight.
As she was trying to come up with a design for her pastries --based off the topic of "lover"-- Jin had popped up in her mind of when they first kissed.
Yoomi abruptly shook her head violently to snap out of her thoughts.
"Yah.." Suddenly, a waiter, name Sungyeol, plopped down next to her, exhaling in exhaustion. "What are you doing?" He asked
"Creating designs.." Yoomi said
"Hm?" He notice the sketches on her notebook. "Is this for your boyfriend?" He teased
"What!?" She abruptly exclaimed
"Aye.. If you want to keep it a secret you shouldn't react like that" Sungyeol chuckled. "But..? Who's the guy? Do I know him?" He grinned
"I-it's no one.. They're just sketches" Yoomi said nervously
"Really? Then why are you staring at the manager?" He smiled elatedly, knowing she has been caught
"It--.. Mind your own business!" Yoomi quickly made a break free in embarrassment
As she hid inside the locker room, she ran passed Jin who's approaching Sungyeol.
"What's so funny?" Jin asked seeing Sungyeol laughing among himself
"Hyung, Yoomi noona's a bad liar" Sungyeol said a bit calmed down
"What?" Jin stared at him in confused
".. She likes Mr. Nam" Sungyeol smiled, pointing over at Woohyun's direction. "Oh? She also forgot this.. Hyung, can you give this back to her? Thanks" He handed him the notebook and left
Jin quietly gaze down at the sketches then look up over at Woohyun who was happily talking on the phone. Just then a thought ran through his mind and a slight pang stab his heart. "She likes him..."
