Valerie

Noah is hopeless, he's been getting ready for an hour now. Just for a walk in the park. It's sunday evening, which might have been the same sunday every week by just me and my kids going for a walk in the park and me watching them play with other kids and finally having dinner at their favourite restaurant in our neighbourhood until Lia wanted me to meet her new friend.

I'm actually quite cool with meeting her new friends but the description she gave over was totally not about a kid, who would play with her in the park. Rather, she told me that her new friend is my fan and wants my autograph and above all of that she made me wear this pretty floral dress which just reached my knees. It's odd of her to do all these stuff but who can even read the mind of a five year old girl.

"Noah, either you come out or we are going to leave in two." I said or maybe practically yelled in the direction of his room. Such a Babygirl.

Damn, blackmail does work on my little brother. He came out but what the- I had to blink my eyes a few times to make sure I'm not seeing wrong. "For the record Noah, we're not going to The Barbie movie. Why are you dressed like that?" I asked him with a done face. He wore pink silk shirt that matched with his beige trousers and a pink scarf around his neck and those annoying shades.

"You're just jealous jiejie." He said while flipping his hair which made Lia  roll on the couch laughing. "Uncle Noah looks like a clown not a barbie." She laughed while hitting Jul who was sitting beside her. "What did you say??" Naoh pointed at Lia with a raised eyebrow. Okay the daily banter of this uncle and his niece is here.

"It's nothing jiùjiu, she's just saying this look suits you better than your daily routine." I tried so hard to not laugh at Jul's words. "Yes like a clown!" Lia exclaimed loudly. Both Jul and Lia started laughing and it only increased when Noah started sulking like a kid.

"Jiejie, your kids are bullying me." I rolled my eyes and chuckled at three of them. It almost feels like I'm the parent of three kids but not two. Like almost everyday.

"Let's go before we make your new friend wait for us. Hm?" I said. Jul and Lia rushed out and made themselves comfortable in the backseat while my little brother is still sulking sitting in the passenger seat. "I just wonder how your school personality and home personality never coincide." I chuckled while pulling our car on to the road.

"What does that supposed to mean?" He asked giving me a confused and curious look.

"Can you just stop chasing trouble at school?  I know it's hard because of who we are but for the love of God, Noah , could you stop breaking your peer's noses?" I said driving to the park but gave a quick glance at Noah. His face went stiff and stoic, almost the same look that I saw on his face in that video which his classmate showed me of him hitting the guys who were bullying him. He glanced back at Jul and Lia and turned towards me to talk once he made sure that they are in their world.

"Jiejie, Can we not talk about this right now?" I nodded my head with a sigh.

After a few minutes we have reached the park and I carefully parked the car in the parking lot. I saw Noah got out first and helped Jul out and I was checking with Lia until I heard Jul and Noah already having running race countdown.

"Be careful, hm?" I said to Lia while holding her hand and walking behind my two kids. A five year old with eighteen years old brain and a eighteen years old with five year old brain.
