After work, I had returned back home. I got into my nightgown and went to get some water from the faucet again. I gladly drank the cool water and set the glass down. Then, I went to the fridge. As expected, it was empty, meaning I had to go to the store tomorrow morning. I would have to wake up a bit earlier for this, but I did have time.

I walked through my house and turned off any lights that were still on. After making sure they were off, I got to bed and fell asleep under the starry skies again. It was a calm night as I slept and even though I didn't notice today, my little friend had came to visit me again, but I was not there.

Once I woke up this morning, I checked the time on the clock. It read 8 o'clock in the morning, which was earlier than when I would usually wake up, but I had shopping to do. I hopped off the bed and went to my dresser, getting my hair brushed, then getting dressed for the day. I chose a simple blue dress and black shoes.

I grabbed my bag and keys, then slung it over my shoulder with the keys tucked in my hand. Swiftly, I made it to the door and exited my home, locking it behind me. I walked down the sidewalks, looking around to see how the weather was for the day. It seemed a normal day, a few clouds about, and the sun wasn't too bright.

When I got to the bus stop, It soon came and I got on. I found a seat in the back and sat silently, watching the land outside the window as it soon turned into city. Buildings towered around the streets now and the grassy area was gone.

The bus had came to a stop and I got off, glancing around at the area. Since I had made a point to remember places and shops, I knew where I would need to go. First of all, I want to get that radio, the one in that window I saw.

So, without hesitation, I made my happy little way down the sidewalks of people and made it to the place. It was an appliance shop full of clocks, radios, and such that I could see through the window. I made my way around and opened the door, a bell ringing above. As I made my way inside, a lady had come up to me. "Good morning ma'am. How can I help you?" She asked with a bright smile.

I stopped and glanced around before replying to her. "I came to buy a radio like that one." I pointed to the radio in the window, making her look over as well. She cupped her hands together and nodded to me before walking away. "I'll be right back." She said as she walked off.

I merely tranced around near the counter and looked around at the different kinds of clocks and little nifty things they had to offer. Nobody seemed to be in the shop other than the worker and I. After a moment or so, the lady came back with a large box under her arm.

"Here we are." She said as she made her way around the counter and set it onto the surface. Her head peaked around the box with a smile. "Thank you. How much?" I asked, and she replied. "25 dollars please." I nodded and went in my bag, grabbing out the respectable amount of money.

I handed it to her and she put it in the cash register. "Have a good day ma'am." She said as I picked the box up under my non-dominant arm. As I existed, I waved to her. "You too."

When I got out, the bustling city met my face again as I now made my way to the grocery store. I walked past people, and soon arrived. With my free hand, I opened the door and walked in. For about half an hour, I shopped and got food and such. I checked out at the cash register and then held the paper bags under my other arm and got to the door, pushing it open with my shoulder.

I then got onto a bus and headed home, needing to drop the stuff before work. I got home and set the box down on my dining room table and headed to put the food away in its respectful places. After unloading, I brushed my hair again and got ready to head back out for work.

When I was ready, I checked the time to see it was 11. I made my way out the door again and got on the bus, heading back over to the city. When I got off, I hurried to the bar and met up with everyone.

"Good morning everyone." I said as I walked into the backroom. I sat down on a chair and looked at everyone. They seemed fine, except for Andrew with his guitar. You know what, nevermind. Lucy is taking care of that. "Andrew, you're gonna wear it down from wiping it down that much!" She lectured him, which made his defensive.

Everyone watched out of sheer boredom and watched the 2 wrestle out their conflict. "Nuh uh! It's fine Lucy!" He yelled back. All the rest of us were silently giggling to ourselves as we watched. Eventually, they did leave each other alone.

"Say, I went shopping this morning and got that radio." Fanny looked over at me and nodded. Jack clapped his hands together and jumped up from his seat. "Well that's wonderful! I remember when I first got my radio. It was back in the day when I was just a teenager and-" He was cut off by Lucy. "Jack." Jack stopped and sat back down. "Alright, sorry."

Mike, for once, chipped in. "That's nice Merlin. Now you can get some news, yeah?" He said with a low head. Fanny looked over at him with disbelief. "About time you talked." He looked back at her and chuckled. "You're to speak? I barely hear you." Everyone other than Fanny agreed. I shook my head. "That is true" I said. "But again, not a bad thing."

After talking for a while, we got out on the stage and started to play as people started to fill in. I could see waitresses starting to run around, getting drinks and food orders. The band had a nice pick of songs today. A lot were some I loved as a child. It reminded me of my parents and how they would bring me to carnivals. Those were such nice times.

Time passed by and the afternoon rolled around. More people were coming in from their work shifts ending, and we continued to play, having breaks every now and then.

Once we got our break around 7, everyone but Jack and I went in the back. Both of us hopped off the stage and took a seat at a table. We started to chat and he had brought up the radio again, now explaining his forever long story he wanted to tell me before.

"But yeah, when I got my radio It was summer time. I had a girlfriend back then and she just loved music. So, as an anniversary gift, I got us a radio. We listened to stations almost every night." I listened as he then continued for another 2 minutes. "So yeah, it's pretty awesome you got a radio, Merlin."

"A radio you say?" A voice said behind me, which made me almost jump out of my seat. But it wasn't a long shock as It was just Alastor. He came around to the middle of the table and stood. "Yeah, a radio. I got one today." I said, looking up at the man.

"Well that's wonderful dear! You can listen to my broadcasts then." My eyes twinkled a bit. Broadcast, as in saying he is a radio host? Well that's just a cool coincidence. "Really? You do radio Alastorr?" I asked with pure interest in my voice. He nodded and looked down at me.

"Why yes, I do. You should listen to it when you can. I practically live there and broadcast almost all the time!" I could only imagine him living there, like he said, because he is live that much. Of course, he couldn't be on all the time. Like a normal human being, he must have time to obviously come here, sleep, and whatever else.

"I definitely will do that then." I smiled a bit, and he well... smiled more? He always seems to be smiling. "Wonderful! Then I'll take my leave dear." He then walked away back to the bar and sat there. I turned back to Jack and then continued to chat until it was time to play again. When it was, I got back on the stage and glided my fingers across the keys once more.
