"Hi Felicity :>", the message popped up on her phone at exactly 9am. She rolled over in her bed to reach for it, groggy and tired, it was a Sunday, she wasn't scheduled to work until 2pm and had hoped for once, her manager wouldn't call her in early.
"Who is this?" She replied back, not recognising the phone number.
"Katherine Harrison," the phone number shot back, "quite upset that you don't remember your almost first kiss Felicity May Jordan."
"I'm gonna murder Will." Fliss sent back, seething at Will's complete desire to ruin her life.
"Oh don't, that's no fun, what you doing later?" Rin sent back followed by a GIF of Chucky.
"I'm at work til 10, are you 18 yet?" Fliss rolled her eyes at the meme and put her phone back on her bedside table.
She rolled onto her back, starring at her ceiling. Her dad had painted it for her, green and floral, as was the common theme in Fliss' room. She fiddled with her hair and debated getting up and repainting her chipped nail polish when Rin finally messaged back,
"I'm 18, send me your work address and I'll pick you up at the end of your shift."
Fliss sent back the address of the Bar she worked at, followed by a heart emoji, not having to get the night bus home was always a bonus.
Groaning, Fliss decided that maybe a lie in was not in the cards for her and reached over for the nail polish box she kept under her bed.

Rin smiled, Fliss was letting her pick her up from work. She'd been at her Sunday job at the markets since 4am and hadn't stopped thinking at the blond girl she'd almost kissed. After guilt tripping Will for an hour she'd finally got Fliss' number and full name and was thus a very happy girl. Rin had moved 3 months ago, she met Will at a speed awareness course she was ordered to take and they'd been friends ever since, she didn't go to M.G like everyone else and so her friend group was small, A-Levels and education had never been for her so she'd got an apprenticeship on a building site the moment she passed her GSCEs, her hands had always been her preferred method of doing things. She worked at the market every Sunday morning til 6pm and then normally clocked in for a bar shift 7pm-3am in a local nightclub but this weekend they were shut for refurbishments and so Rin decided now was the perfect way to climb back into bed with Felicity Jordan.

Fliss was almost asleep on her feet by the time 9:30 rolled around, it had been consistently busy all day with all the football lads coming in for chip cobs at 4pm and the rugby lads joining them at 5pm. She'd managed to send a couple of taunting messages to Will about his imminent murder and a few texts to Rin reassuring her of where to pick her up and reiterating that she didn't mind getting the bus but Rin quickly shot that down.
"Fliss, John wants to know if you're finished with your break?" Harriet said, she was a small ginger girl who worked in the restaurant part of Fliss' work, she was sweet to a degree but that was about it when it came to personality and so Fliss had never really spoken more than a few sentences to her.
"Yeah I'm done." Fliss said, closing her book and putting it into her bag as she stood up from the bench she was sat on.
The last half an hour of her shift were the longest 30 minutes of her life, as she finished up her final transaction and checked that the clock in the bar wasn't lying and it was actually 10pm, Rin walked in. Her black hair was down, curly and messy as her fringe hid her eyes slightly, she was wearing jeans and a vest top, both black, with a tartan green jacket over the top and a lopsided smug grin rested comfortably on her face.
"Hi Princess" she said, her eyes glinting as she looked down at Fliss' bar uniform, tight black skirt and black button up with the company logo embossed on the chest, Fliss looked good and Rin struggled to take her eyes away from her.
"Katherine, how nice to see you sober." Fliss shot back, trying to hide her smile.
Rin smiled, "Cmon now Felicity, surely we can be friends."
Fliss shot her a look of fake anger and then smiled, grabbing her bag and signing herself out as she did, "We can be friends, Rin, if that's what you want."
"Shush darling, get your shit and let's go, I've got things to do." Rin replied back smiling.

Rin drove like a boy, Fliss had seen life flash before her eyes at least twice but they made it to wherever Rin was taking them in one piece at last. It was Rin's house, or her flat at least. Fliss' face dropped, she had thought they were going for a date, perhaps a late night drink or dinner, she would've taken a McDonald's at this point, but Rin bringing her back to her house meant there was only one thing she wanted, and Fliss didn't know if she was willing to give it up.
"Why so glum Princess?" Rin asked, eyeing up Fliss' less than enthusiastic reaction, was this not what she wanted? Had Rin assumed wrong?
"I thought you were taking me on a date." Fliss said quietly, head bowed, how had she been so naive to think that Rin wanted her for more than her body, christ they'd only spoken for a few hours, of course she thought this was a quick shag and go.
"I don't do dates." Rin said back, eyes widening at her realisation that this girl was as innocent as she looked, she didn't date, not anymore.
Fliss' heart sank, as usual she'd got carried away and thought more of a person, read too deeply into a conversation and let her heart guide her, she felt so stupid, she'd had one conversation with this girl and planned their wedding.
They stood there, outside Rin's door for what felt like hours, Fliss felt so stupid but she had also promised herself and Will that this was the year she'd let loose and a one night stand with a girl she barely knew did seem like 'letting loose'.
"It's okay, I was just surprised that's all, can we go in?" Fliss said and she let out the breath she'd apparently been holding.
Rin smiled and nodded, fishing for her key and unlocking the door. She watched Fliss' body as she walked through the doorway, she studied it for those few seconds and finally made her mind up on what she was going to do to this girl.
