Shocks. Late na 'ko!
I ran the sidewalk on my 2-inch heels, hoping I could catch up sa meet up.
Lagot ako nito kay Eisha kapag mag-isa siya doon. Knowing her, I'd probably receive a scolding.
I was wearing a close to white, cream dress with blue floral patterns. My hair flew freely as I ran. Buti na lang I had them clipped on the sides. Sana hindi masyadong sabog yung buhok ko pagkarating doon.
The sun shone brightly today, maybe because it's just 10 a.m. and we had the whoooole day to spend.
Honestly, days before, I was hesitant about this set up blind date. Siguro kasi I'm more of a fate-believing person. If they come, they will. No need to force things ba. Pero... I'm already 29, sooo why not give it a try? 'De joke, pinilit kasi ako ni Eisha na sumama sa kanya, hayst.
I felt sweaty as I ran. After a corner, I spotted the restaurant I'm headed to. Sakto, nasa labas si Eisha, talking with some guys. Mukhang kararating lang din nila.
Napayuko ako as I stopped in front of them. Hinihingal.
"S-Sorry! Na-late ako." I said as I lifted my head.
And if I was sweating earlier, it felt like my sweat got cold and, my heart dropped to the floor in an instant.
