Raven's Pov:

As I finish my assignments, I race down the common room stairs.

"Where did Enzo and Theo go?" I say confused as I talked to Pansy.

"They ran off somewhere,Marcus was taking care of Lucas" Pansy shrugs over at me a slight smile tugging on her lips.

"Raven why didn't you introduce me to Marcus earlier!" Lucas says running over to me,getting a snort out of Pansy and Astoria as they tried to hide their laughs.

"Shut up" I roll my eyes at Astoria and Pansy as their laughs became snickers.

I raise an eyebrow at Marcus as he continues to smirk at me. "Sure, we may be enemies," I say, crossing my arms. "But that doesn't mean I'm going to leave my little brother in your care."

Marcus chuckles darkly, his smirk growing wider. "Don't worry, I won't corrupt him too much," he teases.

I shake my head, knowing I can't trust Marcus completely. "I'll keep an eye on you two" I warn him, giving Lucas a playful ruffle of his hair.

My brother looks up at me with a mischievous grin. "Come on, just give him a chance," he pleads.

I sigh, knowing that I may have to reluctantly let Marcus spend some time with my brother. But I make it clear to Marcus that I will be keeping a close watch on them. Enemies or not, my brother's happiness and safety come first.

As I glare at Marcus, I can see the smug expression on his face. I know he's up to something, and I don't trust him at all. But my little brother seems to have taken a liking to him, and I can't deny that he does have a certain charm about him.

I reluctantly agree to leave my brother with Marcus for a while, but I make it clear that I'll be keeping a close eye on them. Marcus just chuckles and nods, as if he knows he's already won this little battle.

"Oh! And those two friends of yours are fucking stupid!" Lucas calls out to me as I glare at him.

𝑯𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝑮𝒆𝒕 𝑳𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒔 𝑯𝒖𝒓𝒕,I thought to myself as I watched Lucas run out of the common room back to the Gryffindor one.

I walk back up the common room stairs, walking down the long hallway to my dorm as I read all the numbers on the door's in the girl's dormitory.

Suddenly,I was pushed against a wall as two hands held me in place.

As Marcus grabbed my chin forcefully I looked up at him, slightly startled by his movements and the coldness in his eyes. Despite his rugged exterior, his words held a promise of protection for my brother.

"I may be your enemy, but I would never lay a hand on your brother. Your family is off-limits to our rivalry. I promise you, Lucas will be safe in my presence," Marcus said before releasing my chin, his demeanor still cool and distant.

The calloused touch of his fingers contrasted with the cold metal of his intricate rings. Despite the cold exterior, there was a flicker of something deeper in his eyes as he made his promise.

And with a final lingering look, Marcus turned and left the girls dormitory, his silver rings glinting in the dim light.

Which I assume he left to the boys dormitory as he shared a dorm with Theo.

I stood there, just stood. As my mind went blank until I snapped back to reality, walking through the corridor once again to my dorm.

3rd Person POV:

As Raven walked through the halls of Hogwarts, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Julian's strange behavior earlier in the day still lingered in her mind, but she pushed it aside as she had a free period.
