The rain poured relentlessly outside, matching the storm raging within as you stood face to face with Valtteri Bottas in the dimly lit living room of your shared apartment. Tension crackled in the air between you, a palpable force born from weeks of unspoken grievances and unresolved conflicts.

Valtteri's expression was stoic as he stared at you, his blue eyes cold and distant. "I can't do this anymore," he said finally, his voice devoid of emotion.

You felt your heart shatter into a million pieces at his words, the pain of his rejection cutting deep into your soul. "What do you mean?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper as you struggled to hold back your tears.

Valtteri let out a heavy sigh and ran a hand through his hair, his frustration evident in the lines of his face. "I mean I can't be with someone who doesn't trust me," he replied, his voice tinged with bitterness.

Your breath caught in your throat at his accusation, a wave of anger rising up within you. "How can you say that?" you demanded, your voice rising with each word. "After everything we've been through, you still don't think I love you?"

Valtteri's jaw clenched at your words, his resolve wavering for a moment before hardening once again. "Love isn't enough, Y/N," he said firmly, his tone final. "We both know that."

The words hit you like a punch to the gut, leaving you reeling in disbelief. Love wasn't enough? But you had poured your heart and soul into this relationship, sacrificing your own happiness for the sake of Valtteri's dreams and ambitions. How could he dismiss your love so easily?

Tears welled up in your eyes as you struggled to find the right words, the weight of Valtteri's rejection crushing you beneath its unbearable weight. "I can't believe you're doing this," you whispered finally, your voice trembling with emotion.

Valtteri's expression softened at the sight of your tears, a flicker of regret passing through his eyes. "I'm sorry, Y/N," he said softly, his voice barely audible over the sound of the rain. "But I can't stay in a relationship where I'm constantly being questioned and doubted."

You felt a surge of anger rise up within you at his words, the injustice of his accusations burning like a fire in your chest. "I trusted you, Valtteri," you spat, your voice dripping with venom. "But you've broken that trust time and time again."

Valtteri's eyes flashed with frustration, his own anger bubbling to the surface. "I never asked you to sacrifice everything for me," he shot back, his voice rising in intensity. "You made that choice on your own."

The words cut deep, reopening old wounds that had never fully healed. You had given up everything for Valtteri – your career, your dreams, your own sense of self – and yet, it still wasn't enough. How could he not see how much you loved him?

"After everything we've been through, you still don't think I love you?" you repeated, your voice trembling with emotion as you stared at Valtteri, willing him to understand.

Valtteri's expression softened at your words, a flicker of doubt crossing his features. "I never said I didn't love you, Y/N," he said quietly, his voice filled with regret. "But love isn't always enough to make a relationship work."

You felt the weight of his words settle over you like a heavy blanket, suffocating you with their truth. Love wasn't always enough – it was a bitter pill to swallow, but deep down, you knew he was right.

As the rain continued to fall outside, you and Valtteri stood in silence, the echoes of your argument fading into the darkness. The storm may have passed, but the damage it had wrought would linger long after the rain had stopped.

In the end, love may not have been enough to save your relationship, but it would always be a bittersweet reminder of the shattered dreams and broken promises that had once bound you together.

I think at this point you might've noticed that I'm not your typical lovely dovey type of person but some fluff is about to happen real soon, so stay tuned!
