(CN's/C!Catnap's pov)
I sat in the library, waiting for the two phone kids to return. I had nothing to keep me busy as I had read every book in this library, twice. "You two have to be the most annoying and slow people in the world." I hissed in exasperation.
I waited another 15 minutes before deciding to go out and look for them. "If they are playing a prank, I'm going to end them both." I told myself. I went throughout the entire first part of the factory. There were no phone kids. I went throughout the playcare section next. Ollie and Olivia weren't there either. My final place to check was going to be the second part of the factory, near the incinerator. I was pretty certain that they would have to be there, seeing as they weren't in any other part of the factory.
"They both know how much I hate the incinerator room. Of course, that's where they'll be hiding." I groaned. I stood back up and started towards the incinerator. Those kids were going to regret making me go down there.

"Come on Kissy, just a little bit father." I urged my friend. She was a mute toy like Huggy Wuggy had been. This place was nearly empty now, and just as desolate. We were some of the last survivors from the rebellion against the prototype. The rebellion had fallen quite easily. We had lost a lot of friends... The war had been a hard one, and we had lost horribly. The prototype had plenty of allies and pawns to use against us. My whole team, the whole rebellion had died. As far as I knew, only Kissy and I were left here. I didn't know what had happened to the prototoype's pawns, but I hoped that they had all suffered miserable deaths. "I don't think that even getting cut in half with a chainsaw and then dipped in acid would have been enough of a punishment for them." I said aloud.
Kissy looked down at me, her eyes wide. "Sorry my dear friend, I'm just plotting revenge and such." I replied, giving her a quick smile to show her that everything was alright. She smiled back at me. I turned around and continued to crawl over the rubble.
Kissy followed, reluctantly. I knew that she didn't like this area of the factory either, but we had a job to do. "It's just a little bit farther my friend. The Prototype's base is almost in my sights." I turned around to make sure that she was still following me, and gasped in horror.
There was a giant hole in the ground, huge even. "Kissy!" I cried out stumbling over the rubble. I carefully ran over the fallen rubble. I stumbled and nearly fell into the hole! After regaining my balance, I took a deep breath and peered over the edge. The long, dark and horrific looking pit seemed to never end.
The scariest thing was....the hole hadn't been there fifteen minutes before....

I finally reached the area of the factory where the stupid incinerator room is. "Ollie, Liv?" I called out. "If you two don't come out, I'm going to e-", I paused mid sentence. The rest of the words seemed to have vanished into thin air as I stared over the edge into a deep, very terrifying looking pit.
(poppy's POV)
"Well Poppy, this is your only chance to find your friend." I said, taking a long deep breath. I backed up against the wall and took off, tripping over my dress and falling head first into the pit! "Somebody!!! Help!!" I cried, tumbling into the darkness.
All I saw before blacking out was a long, dark, fleshy tentacle....reaching for me
(Ollie's pov)
"NOOOO!!!" I cried! "Leave me alone! I don't want to die!" I was fighting a tentacle or something worse. It was long, dark and fleshy and it had come out of the horrid pit! "Idiot wake up." Someone said, I opened my eyes. It had been just a dream, or more of a nightmare if you asked me.
"Oliver, are you ok?" I blinked in the glaring light. "C-Catnap?" I practically tackled him in tears.
"Ollie, what happened?" He asked, pulling me away from him using his tail. I didn't even bother to put up a fight. "I-It was awful...O-Oliva, s-she fell into the pit!" I cried. Catnap still held me in a firm grip with his tail, but I didn't mind. I felt safer with him.
"You mean, the giant pit that's in the ground where the incinerator room should be? The giant pit that wasn't there before?" He asked, staring directly at me.
"As if there is another huge pit that somehow opened up." I snapped, sarcastically. He let his tail fall from around me and glared. "It was just a question." He snapped back.
I fell backwards, and landed on a brick. "You're right Catnap. I lost my temper because I'm scared." I replied, almost silently. His eyes lost the angry look and his face softened.
"I was too inconsiderate of what you possibly saw." He replied, in his normal voice. I lowered my head and cried. My cousin was most likely dead by now. There was no way I was going near that horrible, dark pit ever again. Yet...I felt like Olivia might be alive...and I was going to have to be the one to rescue her.
(Catnap's pov)
I sat down next to Ollie. I didn't really know what to do at this point. Olivia most likely died from that fall. After all, no one could survive a fall like that, unless they had wings, and Olivia definitely did have wings.
I remembered the shrill, loud cry of help from earlier, yet I had been too scared to investigate. So I had chosen to ignore it. I had ignored a cry for help because I had been too scared. Now I felt guilty because I might have been able to save them.
I closed my eyes to slits and saw Ollie sneaking away. "Oliver, what are you doing?" He jumped at the sound of my voice. "O-Oh Catnap, I-I didn't know you were awake-" Opening my eyes fully now, I gave him a look. "And where were you planning to go off to?" I asked.
He looked down at his shoes like they were the most interesting thing in the world. "I-I'm going back to the pit. I know my cousin is alive and I have to save her." He replied. "Ol-", he stopped me mid-sentence. "Catnap, I know she's alive. She's my only cousin, and my only family. I would have felt a disconnection if she had died!" He cried out. I hadn't had any siblings of my own, so I didn't understand the special connection they had, as I had grown up as an orphan. "If she's alive, it's going to take more than you and I to find her." I said, staring him dead in the eyes.
He finally looked at me. "Do you have any ideas who could help us?" I nodded. "Yes, I might have one..."
