(Ollie's pov)
The pit was very beckoning. After all, all I had to do was jump. It would easily be the end very soon..... Yet I still felt a self doubt creeping up into my mind. "What if Olivia or even Catnap actually did survive that fall-" I really hoped that they did. I knew that based on the fact that the pit seemed endless that the chances of that were one in a hundred of either of them surviving.... "I'm just going to hope for the best.." I thought to myself, contemplating the thought of jumping still.
After about fifteen minutes of staring into the deep, dark, terrifying pit, I finally got up the strength to pull myself away. I backed up slowly, trying not to trigger another opening like the one that had swallowed up Catnap.
"Alright Ollie, you did it. Mission accomplished." I told myself, leaning against one of the intact walls.
The pit still seemed so beckoning though- "Olliver, snap out of it!" I shouted, slapping myself with one of the fallen pipes. I cried in pain as I threw the pipe down. "Great job, you freaking idiot. You cut yourself because of your own stupidity." I scolded myself.
I ran out of the room as quickly and as carefully as I could manage. The sooner that I got out of that room, the better-

The darkness surrounding me seemed to swallow everything up. Luckily for me, I had night vision so I could see quite well. It really seemed like whoever inhabited this place knew it well. There were many discarded pieces of scrap and even markers all along the wall. There were equations for experiments written on the wall and even some old equipment that was lying around.
I wandered around the dark room before I discovered a hole in the wall. Squeezing myself, I got through the hole. 'Ow, that was tight asf." I grimaced. On the other side of the hole I found another larger room. This one was filled with a ton of tubes?
"If I didn't know better, I would say that the prototype is back-" I whispered aloud. "He's dead though", a voice responded. I jumped back and grabbed a fallen pipe from the ground. "Hey wa-" I cut them off by smacking them in the head with the pipe.

I gasped for breath as I fell deeper and deeper in the pit. My voice had long since gone hoarse about two hours ago. "If this is how I'm spending the rest of my life, at least give me something good to-" I was cut off as I landed on the ground with a loud thud.
"I think that that fall broke every bone in my body." I groaned. I stood up after I was certain that my bones weren't broken. "I'm not immortal like the others." I hissed in pain. I looked up and realized that I couldn't even see the start of the hole. All I saw was endless darkness.
"If I survived, then maybe Kissy did too!" I cried joyously.
"My next goal is to find my friend." I told myself, stepping over some stones and fallen rubble. "Don't worry Kissy, I'm coming for you."

I needed to find Poppy, and quickly. For a toy doll, she was really fking fast. I almost always had a hard time keeping up with her. "Oh Poppy, where are you?" I thought to myself. I considered raising my voice and shouting for her, but I didn't really want another one of those weird pits to open up. I might have been being way too cautious, but I didn't care. This factory was hard enough to navigate. Now there were a bunch of scary looking fking pits popping up everywhere.
I stumbled on a pile of rubble but regained my balance. "Poppy, where are you?" I called aloud. It felt weird for me to speak up for once. Before I had been experimented on and turned into the living toy that I was today, I had been mute as a kid, meaning that I couldn't speak. "I guess I'm the only one who got anything beneficial out of the experiments...besides the prototype at least...."
The prototype. I hated his guts. To be honest, I had wanted to be the one to kill him but I was glad that he was dead nonetheless. "Wait a minute...the prototype? Is it possible that he's back?" I wondered out loud. "But Poppy said he had been killed. There's no way he's back..."
I shook the thought off. I was just being paranoid because the prototype had scared the hell out of both me and Poppy. It was actually the reason that we had never restarted the rebellion or gone to fight him ourselves. I knew that both of us had wanted to be the one to deliver the killing blow to him, though neither of us came close. Based on what Poppy said, a few entities from a whole nother universe had taken him on and kill him. They had already returned to their world but everyone here in this factory would forever be in their debt.
Except for those few followers that the prototype still had-

I crawled through the darkness, my vision blurred. I could barely see anything as it was. With one of my eyes gone, I was half blind. Now I was in the dark and my night vision wasn't helping much.
"I'll kill you once I find you. If you're still in the factory that is-" I whispered.
I didn't even know which part of the factory I was in. This seemed like a whole new part that was unexplored. I could tell that it was definitely inhabited though. There were bits of paper that was lying around that felt quite recently discarded. There was also writing on the walls and some different pieces of broken and non broken lab equipment lying around as well.
I looked up, hoping to see even a sliver of light. All I saw was darkness. "Same thing I saw as I fell into this fking pit." I groaned. I really wish my night vision hadn't been so damaged. Wincing in pain, I continued to crawl along in silence.
