"Momma, can we play chase?" I asked.
"Bug, I would love to but I have some business I need to do," she sadly stated " but how about in an hour after lunch I'll play chase and maybe I'll take you to the lake. How's that sound bug?"
"really momma you would really take me there!?" I asked excitedly.
"Oh you know I would."
I nodded my head and skipped away.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
"Momma someone's at the door!" I yelled
Momma had walked into to the room and sniffed the air. She looked sad, then anger and now she looked scared. Momma came over to me and told me to hide. That we were going to play hide and seek. I smiled and momma started to count.
"1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10 here I come bug." she said
I ran into the kitchen and hid under the sink in the cabinet. I cracked it so I could see mommas feet and maybe help her out a bit. Every time we play she can find me for awhile..
"Where is she!?!" I heard some man yelling in the living room.
"she's not here! Now leave you were not invited in!" momma yelled back.
SLAP
I flinched when I heard it then the next thing I hear is momma crying she used to do that a lot.
"Please you need to leave," she cried "the kids are gone to friends. Now leave!"
"How dare you speak to me like that you bitch!" he yelled back.
After he hit her some more times I heard some movements I cracked the cabinet open some more and saw the man had a gun to my momma.
"If I can't have her then I'll have your life. Worthless excuse of a mate." he said disgustedly.
"do what you must but leave my babies alone!" she yelled.
That when the gun went off and now momma was laying there. so I did the one thing I thought
'momma!' I tried to mind link her.
'bug.. I... Love y-you... Tell your.. Brothers and Lucy.. I love them...'
'please momma don't go!'
'stay st-stay safe bug. He wants..y-you.'
When the man left I ran to momma and felt the tears fall from my eyes. Momma had taken her last breath starring at me. I held mommas hand and laid my head on her chest and cried. I knew I was alone for tonight. I didn't want to leave momma. I fell asleep on momma.
Hours later I woke up from a nightmare and when I opened my eyes I realized it wasn't dream but what I actually saw. I got up to find the phone I only knew 3 numbers and they were mommas, peepaws, and alphas. Momma made me remember them for when something happens. I had called peepaws number and no one answered so I tried alphas.
"Alpha Peterson speaking."
"Help my momma...please" I cried to him.
"Kat is that you?" he asked
"pl-please help her..." I was bawling now.
"Kat stay on the phone and talk to Luna Bell, okay? I'm coming now."
"Kat are you there it's Bell?" she asked
"Yeah.. Please help my momma. She won't wake up." I cried
