Lucy was sitting outside with her best friend Emily. I walked out and they stopped what they were doing and looked at me shocked.
"Kat what's going on?" Emily asked happily.
"Can I talk to lucy? I kinda need her." I asked quietly looking at the ground.
Lucy stood up and pulled me into a hug and I started crying. I needed my family now and I still don't know how I'm suppose to tell them.
"Where's Elliot ?"
"In his room. Why?"
"You and Elliot need to know something. Can we go to his room and talk?"
"Of course"
We walked inside and up to Elliot's room. I hesitantly knock. He opened the door and smiled at us until he he saw my red puffy eyes.
"I have something to tell you guys."
Elliot moved so we could go in. Elliot and Lucy sat on the bed while I stood by the door. Just in case I couldn't handle telling them.
"I know you guys still are trying to figure out what happened to me. I didn't want you to um find out at all. But okay. James asked me out and I said yes he told me we would go to the movies. Then when we started driving he said he changed his mind....he said we would go to the lake and when he turned the opposite way....." I looked at them begging them to not make me say it.
Lucy had tears falling and Elliot looked like he was going to murder someone.
"He pulled over and..... Please don't make me say it" I looked at them. "That's not all.. I think I might be ugh pregnant." That's when the tears I tried to keep from falling fell.
I didn't know what to so or say. Apparently neither did they.
"Uncle Nathan needs to know." Elliot said before leaving the room.
I stood there for a couple minutes. Then it hit me, my brother is mad at me. I started to cry some more. Lucy stood up from the bed and pulled me into her arms trying to calm me down. Eli then walked in with the stick in a box that will change everything. Eli looked at me and pulled me into a hug.
"I'll take her to her bathroom. Why don't you go find Elliot and talk to him? He was pretty mad." Lucy said before grabbing the pregnancy test and ushering me into the bathroom.
"So pee on this and then we wait 7 minutes."
I walked into the bathroom and stared at the box in my hands. I thought of all the possibilities but the main one I was hoping for was that their would be no baby. I opened the box and did as Lucy said. I walked out to see Lucy, Elliot, Eli, Nathan and Bell sitting on my bed. They all stared at me with sadness in their eyes. I tried not to think about things so I put the stupid stick on my desk and laid down on the floor. I put my hands on my stomach without noticing. I say there staring at the ceiling fan as it spins.
I looked at my clock an it's only been a minute. I knew this would be the longest 7 minutes of my life. I decided to close my eyes and try to make time go bye fast.
I fell asleep and started to dream. I was walking in a house I have never been in before. I was walking around and I started to hear voices. I followed them to see who it was, when I started to walk down the hall I started to recognize the voice and it was the one and only rapist. I started to cry.
'Kat'
I looked around and saw no one. I was alone.
'Kat'
I started to get scared and started shaking.
'Kat! Wake up!'
I tried but my eyes just wouldn't open. Suddenly I felt water splashed on me and I shot up from the bed and saw my older siblings staring at me with worried looks.
"You should go check if its done yet." Lucy said looking away from me.
They're all disappointed in me, I should have listen to Eli when he warned me. I got up from the bed and walked slowly to the restroom where the life changing stick was laying on the sink. I opened the door and closed my eyes taking a breath. If its positive I will love my pup forever. if its negative.. I don't know. I opened my eyes and turn to see my family in the hall waiting. Luna and Nick were now standing there looking worried. I turned back and took a step. My tears that I was holding hostage, escaped. I turned and looked at them and fell to the ground.
"I...I cant do it. What if it's p-positive?" I looked up them with blurry vision.
Eli kneeled down and pulled me into a hug and looked at Luna. I'm guessing he asked her to look through the mind link. We all watched as she walked into the restroom and took a breath before picking up the stick. When she had a relieved look, one thing popped in my head.
Negative.
I started to cry again but this time they were happy tears. I stood up and ran to Luna and pulled her into a hug and everyone else followed.
"I cant tell you how relieved I am." I mumbled into someones chest.
Everyone laughed.
"Alpha something has happened to the Black Pack. They have called for assistance."
