A mysterious pair (Rantaro x OC)

A duo of sorts.

After I write down all my thoughts about the Monokubs, Monokuma, and the new information I obtained about everyone, I close my notebook and put it back into my backpack. I sling my backpack over my shoulder.

"Why do you write everything down?" Amami asks, causing me to look over at him.

"Because I think it's important, as I said earlier." I respond.

"Why do you think so?"

"I just do. I've always thought it was."

"Hm..." Amami hums, thinking.

"Is it from a place of paranoia?" Amami asks.

"Paranoia of what?" I ask.

"Forgetting." I pause.

...Why do I think it's important to write everything down? Now that I think of it, I've always said and thought that it's important, but I never had a reason. I just... thought it was.

...I need to think about this later. This isn't important. I have bigger meals to finish.

"Owen?" Amami asks.

Shit.

"Hm?" I hum.

"You alright?" I nod.

"Yup. I'm okay. Just thinking. What was your question again?" I ask.

"...Never mind." He says dismissively.

"You sure?" I ask. He nods. I hesitate for a moment before nodding back, deciding to move on from whatever subject we were talking about.

"Either way, we should get back to the group. It's been around an hour at this point." Amami says.

An hour?! Damn... I'm a slow writer. But then again, I do need to make sure I can read what I write down, so...

"Hm... You can go and get back to them. I have something else I gotta do... Alone." I respond.

"..Alright." Amami replies, hesitating. I simply nod and walk out of the library, before walking off on my own, making sure he wasn't following me.

I didn't have anything I had to do. I just wanted to be alone and to check out my dorm, to be honest.

Once I get to the student dormitory, I look around for my dorm.

All of the little pictures above our dorms are so cute.

Once I find my picture correlating with my dorm, I go inside. The walls of the dorm were a shade of gray and the colour of the covers were a dark green, like that shade of green that pine trees have at night. Coincidentally, that was my favourite colour. I look around my dorm and check the cabinets and shower, seeing if there might've been anything there. Ultimately, I found nothing.

"Owen?"

I turn my head towards the door. My sisters' voice. I go to and open the door.

"Ah, there you are! I was worried. Why weren't you with the rest of us?" Danielle asks, her voice rather loud. Well, not loud. I just have sensitive ears.

"I had to write down the information I got and my thoughts before I forgot. I also wanted to check out my dorm since I hadn't gotten the chance to." I explain. She hums with a nod in response.

"Oh! Look! Your bed is your favourite colour, too." Danielle comments.

Not a coincidence then.

I give a hum as a response.

"..Can you go outside for a moment, Dani? I want to test something."

"Uhm... Okay?" Danielle's tone is one of confusion, though she completes my request, closing the door behind her. I then proceeded to yell loudly.
