"Mom!" Felix ran down the hallway of his home, "Eomma!!"

"Felix, slow down please. What is it?" His mom looked up from her place on the couch. Startled by the boys yelling.

"Mom! Look at this," Felix pointed to a university on his laptop screen, "it's a dance school in Korea! They accepted me! What do you think?"

Felix was smiling from ear to ear, waiting for his mom to look over the school he had found. It had always been his dream to go to college for dance.

"Korea? Dance? Felix, isn't that a bit unrealistic. You're not going to make a living dancing. And Korea is far!" His mother looked at him, disappointment on her face, "what about being a lawyer? Or maybe even a doctor!"

"Mom I want to dance. This school is perfect! I know Korea is far but I can come home for the holidays! Please," he pleaded, "just consider it."

"Me and your father will talk about it. Don't you have dance practice in 25 minutes, if you don't hurry you're going to be late!" His mom replied, trying to get off the topic of the school.

"Oh shoot! You're right! Bye mom!" He grabbed his bag and water, making a run towards the front door.

—————————————— dance practice

It was about a 10 minute walk from Felix's house to the dance studio. All he could think about on the way there was the dance school in Korea. No matter what his parents thought, he would surely convince them!

"G'day Felix!" Someone yelled.

"G'day Mark! How are you, mate?" Felix yelled back.

"I'm doing well! But you won't be if you don't hurry and get in here!" Mark teased, hurrying Felix into the studio.

The session started out with stretching. Today there were assessments, Felix had been working on his splits for a while and he finally could go all the way to the floor. After assessments, they could finally start dancing. First was hip hop and they ended with a bit of free styling. At the end, Felix walked over to his bag and took a sip of water while looking at his phone. He decided to check how much a flight to Korea would cost. When looking, he realized that one flight would take up a quarter of his money from working over the summer. But luckily he would have enough money left over for an apartment until he got a job.

"Felix, you're still here?" A voice behind him said.

He startled, turning towards the voice. "Oh, Mr. Jack. I was just about to leave. Sorry," Felix bowed, slinging his bag over his shoulder.

"Don't worry about it kid, have a safe trip home,"   Mr. Jack patted his back and gave him a small wave as he walked out the door.

—————————————— back at home

"Eomma! I'm home!" Felix yelled, putting his shoes on the rack and his bag on the hook.
