The new teachers may enter easily because the double door slides open by itself. The chamber was bathed in sunlight streaming in through the window, creating a cozy sanctuary away from the tower and the bustling city below. Sunlight illuminates the cityscape.
The self-centered Oni rushed towards the window, leaning against it to get a better perspective of the landscape, or in this case, cityscape. "Woah, check it out! They got a dog in that big screen!" He shouted in awe as tapped against the window, seemingly pointing out where he saw them.
Despite being adults, they still view the city as if it was an exhibition. Although, some of them have already taken their seats, they can't help with the others staring towards the new world.
"What are those things? Carts? I don't see any horses either..." Wriothesley muttered as he stared on the streets below. Kaveh however looked conflicted, he seemed to be the only one unsatisfied with the city. "How come the architecture here so simplistic? If that is our hope in the future then... my potential are..." he mumbled while also biting his fingernail.
"Kaveh-Sensei, why don't you have a seat?" Rin suggested to him, making him leaves his thoughts. With a simple gesture of a nod, he sat on an empty seat, sitting next to Alhaitham. Itto also finished sight-seeing, making his way to an empty seat. All of them are now well-seated in their seats.
Rin looked around among the teachers, seeing the numbers being odd, literally. "Is there anyone not present?" she asked, leaving the others confused, "I recalled there being 11 adults. Is someone not here yet?"
As the other looked around, they noticed the seat next to Neuvillette is left untouched. He recalled everyone was gathered at the same time.
"Actually, Zhongli-Sensei had been called over. He might arrive late." Baizhu raised his hand as he spoke up, gathering everyone's attention.
"Where is he currently?" she asked him. In which the snake wrapped around his neck slithers around his arm, its head stopped as it reached the end of his palm. "Hardly know. Maybe he avoided he meeting altogether." it jokingly said. "Changsheng... tone." he calmly disciplined the snake.
While everyone was distracted by the snake talking, Rin clears her throat to gather everyone's attention.
"Now that everyone is here, despite not everyone, I would like to congratulate you all for your anticipation of becoming a teacher. I am grateful that the president chose you all as the one who guides us."
"Here, there are thousands of academies waiting for your arrival. Perhaps too many that any of you can comprehend."
Ayumu walked around the round table, handing out files that includes the information and database regarding the schools.
Everyone opened their files, except for Neuvillette. He was far too fixated on the seat next to him. This individual named "Zhongli" is still not present.
He quickly ignores this, opening up the files to see what the school has to offer for him. Of course, these are the schools that are listed and spoke of by the General Student Council. Even from their logos, these schools are nothing alike.
