Sophia saw Jackson, he sat with a snide smirk and a police jacket wrapped around his naked chest. The girl's fingers squeezed his ear. "What the hell did you do?!"

"Nothing" He shrugged her fingers off "Your twin and his owner kidnapped me"

"You really think they would do that for no reason" she flicked his forehead "Idiot"

"See thank you, we don't kidnap for no reason" Scott nodded at Stiles words.

Annoyance covered Noah's face, "You shouldn't be kidnapping at all"

"Yeah Stiles, kidnapping is bad" Sophia ears heard a snort, she turned her head meeting Marcel's eyes "What was that?"

"A derisive snort"

"Stop hurting me!" Jackson shook his head, "I'm not the kanima Sophia, i don't have a tail nor do i kill people"

The witch scoffed, "Sure and i'm not adopted"

"Sophia Stilinski!"

She winced, her head turned to see where her father stood and his arms crossed and Melissa who wore the same expression

"Hi dad!" She carefully trudged towards the man, a weak smile placed on her lips

"Don't hi dad me, where have you been? I have been worried sick about you young lady"

The witch wore a dazed smile "I was on a date"

"You were on a date!" Melissa exclaimed.

"You were on a date?!"

The two parents shared a look, the mother focusing her attention back on Sophia "Please tell me it was that boy Boyd" She nodded, a slight laugh leaving her lips "That's adorable Fi, where did he –" She felt the glare of Noah "We'll talk about this later"

Melissa had always been the mother Sophia lost, she loved her, raised her, taught her right from wrong and when the pain ached she held the girl in her arms and whispered reassuring words.

In many ways Melissa was her mother.

Melissa walked towards her son, leaving the father and daughter. "I had turned my phone off, i'm sorry dad but – i had fun today like more fun than i've had in a while"

His anger turned soft "Is he nice"

She nodded, "The sweetest, he took me on a date to the ice skating rink and we watched the stars"
Noah saw how the girl gushed of this boy who seemed to adore her, she was happy and that was all he truly cared for.
