The canvas was blank, waiting for the paint to reach the canvas but she was unaware of what to do. Her mind was stuck in an endless loop of the events of the rave, Adeline Argent.

A devil told from her own step mother.

Sophia had seen a single photo of her, her name never passed anyone's lips. No one in this world spoke of her besides Victoria. The hatred that burned in her eyes, swearing Sophia was the devil reincarnated.

A part of her was terrified the woman was right.

Sophia knew the truth now, the monster that crawled under her skin, piercing her fragile heart. She could blame her dead mothers, blame Deucalion and his pack but the person to blame was her own self for the pain she would cause.

The door of her room shot open, the strawberry blonde and huntress with bags falling from their arms. "Shopping?"

Lydia's eyes went to the canvas "Abstract" Sophia launched a pillow at the girl, "Excuse you, my birthday, no hitting."

"My apologies birthday girl"

Allison's shoulder collided with Sophia's "You okay?"

Her eyes flickered between the two who wore equally concerned looks, Allison had told Lydia the words Sophia's lips couldn't pass and the two barely left her side. Sophia nodded, a smile placed on her lips "I'm fine"

Rebekah had craved for a human life for thousand years, to be a regular high school cheerleader, to go to prom, have friends but she was Rebekah Mikaelson and it was never in the picture.

Allison's eyebrow raised, "You're always fine"

Sophia eyed the girl, sending her a playful warning glare. Their eyes went to Lydia who laid out three outfits (All for her)

Sophia finger circled her bed where the outfits laid "How many outfits do you plan on wearing"

"It's my birthday party. I'm thinking host dress, evening dress, then after-hours casual."

Rebekah nodded, "Smart"

"See! Thank you" Lydia wished she could have worn more of the dresses but Peter's vendetta ruined it.

"I noticed that you didn't send out any invites." Allison wore an awkward smile while the witches attention went to the bags of clothes, hoping to avoid any conversation that would upset the birthday girl.

"Biggest party of the year, Allison. Everyone knows." Lydia shot back.

"I was wondering if maybe this year things, you know, might be different."
